Nezbree Oplin, Rune Scribe of Creation

Another Problem Child from the Sky, Great.

"I can really have this?!" Yuric asks, looking around the room with a sparkle in his eye.

"Yes, you really can have it. I've gotten tired of hearing you sleep on the couch at night. This way, I won't hear your snores and you get a more comfortable bed," Mellony answers from the doorway, her arms folded. Yuric had been living in her house for two weeks now and she hadn't gotten a peaceful night's rest in those two weeks.

"Sweet. Now I can move all the stuff that I've been getting up here. They won't have to suffer in that small closet any longer," Yuric says. In his two weeks on Earth, Yuric has grown fond of anime figurines, particularly the figurines from action animes. His collection now consists of about 20 different figurines from four different anime.

"Well, I'll leave you to it," Mellony says as she walks down the stairs. She walks into her own room and looks at the calendar hanging over her mirror. Today was the day that she took her monthly shopping spree, spending almost all of the extra cash that she saves for this specific day.

She grabs her purse, emptying her secret stash from inside her closet and adding it to her purse. She grabs a blazer from her closet and walks out to the TV room. She sits down, grabbing a book from the off the table, when an earthquake occurs. The entire room starts shaking, objects falling off of the shelves and the walls. Yuric comes running down the stairs, a glowing rune in his raised hand. Just as the shaking didn't seem to want to stop, the whole world went still. All the plants, paintings, and appliances suspended in mid-air. Mellony rubs her eyes, unable to believe what just happened, only to open them and find that everything was back in its place, completely undisturbed.

"What was that?" Yuric asks, erasing the rune in the air above his head. He walks over to the kitchen and grabs a bag of potato chips.

"I don't know, but it seems somewhat familiar," Mellony answers from her spot on the couch. She checks the clock. Still an hour to go until the shops that she wants to hit open. "Hey, Yuric. Do you want to play a video game with me?"

"What's a video game?" Yuric asks from behind her, making her jump half a mile.

"Don't sneak up on people like that, jeez." Mellony walks over to the TV and turns on the console. "A video game is like an advanced version of the anime that you like so much."

"Really!?" Yuric exclaims, jumping over the couch and landing next to Mellony. "Sure, I'll play."

Mellony puts a disc in the case, her favorite fighting game, and starts playing. "This will be a walk in the park," she thinks to herself.

"Yes, I win again!!" Yuric exclaims, pumping his fist in the air. "That makes the score 20 to 6. Ready for another round?" he asks the defeated Mellony, her body nothing but a black and white shell.

"How did he beat me so easily? He had no idea what he was doing for the first seven rounds." she says in her mind. She reaches for the console and turns the power off, erasing any all data that wasn't saved, meaning that she still had the top-scorer position.

"Let's get going," Mellony says, her eyes in shadow. She turns around and heads out the door, Yuric in his white vest and pants following after her.

"So, where exactly are we going?" he asks Mellony, his hands behind his head.

"I am going to go shop, you are going to hold my bags," Mellony says to him without turning her head.
