Madeline's POV

I stared at the concrete steps of the school and sighed. Another day of being bullied and tortured.

I marched up the steps and walked into the building.

The hallways of course were empty, I am usually one of the first kids here.

I opened my locker and grabbed my books and binders. I climbed up the stairwell and sat at the top.

I opened my drawing book and started doodling a valley. A bell pierced the silence and I jumped.

The kids flooded in. I started running to my class until I was sidetracked by someone.

I fell and my book scattered. I quickly recovered and ran to class.

Natalie's POV

As I was getting my things from my locker, I felt someone's presence. I looked around but everyone was rushing by me.

I closed my locker an headed to my first class, Math. I was good at every subject. That's why almost everyone hated me, I got everything they didn't. I was always a straight A student.

"Move it nerd." A jock said as he shoved me.

I dropped my books and my sketch book opened. A picture of a red eyed person rested on the page. Everyone stopped and looked at me. They began laughing...

I was so angry that tears began to fall from my eyes. I grabbed my stuff and ran to the washroom. I was sobbing for what felt like forever. I heard someone come in and I quieted down my crying.

"Are you okay?" A voice sounds.

It sounded like someone I knew. What was her name? Madeline I think it was.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I sniffled.

Just what I needed, someone else to call me a freak. I opened my sketch book and began drawing more red eye figures that come to me in my dreams.

Madeline's POV

I sat down by Natalie, I think her name is, and watched her draw. As she grew closer to finishing I widened my eyes.

She was drawing the man that haunted my nightmares. I quickly pulled out my book and looked at my pictures.

She was drawing something exactly like mine. "Natalie." She looked up and I showed my pages.

She looked confused "H-How did y-you draw that?" She asked. I put my book on my lap.

"He haunts my nightmares." I simply state. I don't really sugarcoat crap when I don't need to.

"Mine too." She says. How in the world does the happen? "This is weird." I say.

She nods. I start to stand up when a massive headache starts. I stumble back and grab my head.

"Madeline? What's wrong?" She holds onto my shoulder. A vision flows through my mind and I see two men.

"Where's my book?" I ask. She hands it to me and a pencil. I quickly draw as neatly as possible and it turns out pretty good.

"That's what I saw." I say. She studies it "I have no idea who these people are." She hands the book back.

An ear shattering scream cuts the air like a knife.

Natalie's POV

Madeline and I looked at each other before we bolted out of the bathroom. There was a group of girls surrounding something. As Madeline and I got close I saw what it was. I put my hand over my mouth and turn away.

There lying in the middle of the floor, was my math teacher, Mrs. Louisiana. It looked like she was eaten alive by wolves. I gaged at the sight of body parts and blood. Madeline looked pale and surprised.

"Alright step aside." A male voice came.

Two men emerged from the growing crowd of students, One taller than the other.

"This is a police matter, I need everyone who didn't find the body to leave." The taller one said.

He looked a bit like Madeline but I was just seeing things. The shorter one came up to Madeline and I while the taller one went to the other girls.

"Did you girls witness anything strange before the incident?" He asked.

Madeline was going to say something before I cut her off.

"No, sir." I replied.

He looked at me skeptically before looking Madeline.

"What about you?" He asked.

She looked at me before shaking her head. Thank god! I sighed with relief.

"Okay you two can go to class now." The man said.

I smiled politely as I began walking, dragging Madeline with me. I thought I heard something like a book fall but I ignored it and kept walking.

"Natalie, those were the men in my vision." Madeline says.

"I know. They were in my dreams, too" I replied as we kept walking, not looking back at the two men.
