Madeline's POV

*Dream*

I awoke on a bed of wet green grass. I sat up and looked around. I was in a forest, a canopy of trees surrounded me.

I looked at myself and raised my eyebrows. I was wearing a white lace dress and black slip on shoes.

I stand up and look around. I see a red carpet leading through the woods. I follow it out of curiosity.

I push away the branches in my face and see the man who has haunted my dreams.

The red eyed man.

"What the hell do you want?" I snap at him. He chuckles "It's not you I want. I want your powers."

I scoff "Go rot in hell, you've tortured me enough." He just smiles and circles around me.

"I will not stop until you and Natalie are corrupted."

He brushes my shoulder and walks into the woods. Darkness eats my vision.

I wake up breathing fast. I look around and find everyone asleep. I sigh and walk to the bathroom.

I close the bathroom gently and sit on the counter. I turn on the tap beside me and wait.

I imagine it moving, but no such luck. Dammit.

Natalie's POV

I wake up soon after Madeline. The red eyed man just wouldn't give up. I sat up and rubbed my face.

"You okay?" Maddy asked from the bathroom door.

"Fine." I reply.

"I'm going for a walk, wanna come?" Madeline asked.

"Sure." I smiled.

I grabbed a piece of motel stationary and wrote a quick note.

Dean and Sam,

Maddy and I just went for a walk. If we're not back after you wake up, you can call me or Maddy, we both have our cell phones.

-Natalie

I set it on my nightstand and slipped my converse's on. I went out the door after Madeline and we began our walk down the road.

"I'm scared..." I said.

"Of what?" Maddy asks as she glances at me.

"The truth.... What are we meant to be Maddy?" I question as I kick a rock.

"To be honest with you, I don't know, but whatever it is, it's big." Madeline sighed.

I sighed as well, kicking another rock.

"Does that mean, we're monsters?" I ask.

Maddy stopped in her tracks and turned towards me. She grabbed my shoulders.

"Don't ever say anything like that, ever." Madeline demanded.

The wind started to pick up slightly.

"Are you scared that you're a monster?" I asked.

The wind picked up even more.

"Are you afraid that your mom would disown you?" I ask another question.

The wind begins blowing furiously.

"Are you worried that you're endangering your family, friends and anyone close to you?" I asked a final question.

The wind came to an abrupt stop. Madeline looked to the ground. I was testing her abilities.

"Don't be afraid." I said softly.

Maddy nodded her head and hugged me. We headed back to the motel.

Madeline's POV

Tears fell down my face. That last question Natalie asked me was actually quite true.

We walked into the motel and down the hallway. I opened the room and only saw Dean.

"Where's my dad?" I asked. He looked up "He went out for food." I nodded and sat down on the other bed.

I took off my jacket and threw it on the couch. Nat did the same. I curled up in a little ball.

"Are you okay?" Natalie asks. I nod "Yeah, how about you?" She sigh "I've been better, but at least we're still alive and breathing."

I chuckle and sit up "Yeah." The door opens and dad walks in with food.

He hands me and Natalie a sandwich. "Thanks." We both say. I unwrap it and begin to eat.

After our little breakfast dad left with Dean to see if there was any minor cases we could try.

"Okay, so I think I can control the elements." I say. She nods "I'm a human fire ball."

I laugh and concentrate on the water running. I nudge my finger to it a little and it bends the tiniest bit.

"I did it!" I cheer. Then the water stops bending and splashes on me. I put on a pouty face and Natalie laughs.

"Try again." She says.
