Natalie's POV

This can't be happening.

"Cas, please tell me it's not real!" I pleaded.

"I'm sorry Natalie..." Castiel says.

"How in the hel-heck, did Crowley get some of Lucifer's blood?!" I whisper-shouted.

"He is Crowley." Cas states.

I hear a twig snap behind me. Castiel must've heard it too because he also looked in that direction.

"Did you hear that too?" I ask.

Cas nodded his head as I began to walk towards the noise. I reached my destination and I saw Madeline. She stared at me with wide eyes.

"How much did you hear?" I asked.

She didn't say anything as she started at me. Finally she spoke.

"Explain." She muttered.

I took a deep breath and began to explain.

"Okay, my mom was an angel and when she had me, I got some of her genes. Then when Crowley injected us with different serums, someone let it slip that I was half angel so he had some of Lucifer's blood and he injected me with it so now I'm half and half. A hybrid." I finished explaining.

Madeline stood their with her mouth hanging open.

"Than who's that?" Madeline asks as she points behind me.

"That's-" I start but Cas cuts me off.

"I'm Castiel, Angel of the lord." He introduced himself.

"I'm-" Madeline begins but he cuts her off too.

"Madeline Harrison." Castiel finishes.

"Let's go back. See ya later Cas." I bid him ado as Madeline and I went back to the sanctuary.

Madeline's POV

What the hell? Flipping demons and angels. Whatever happened to quizzes and bullies?

I stop and take a deep breath. "Did he inject me with the blood?" I ask.

She turns around "I don't know." I sigh. "I need to go outside." I ignore her grabbing hands and walk outside.

She doesn't follow.

I find a fallen stump and sit down. Just me and my thoughts.

I control elements.

I have telekinesis.

Natalie burns to the touch.

She's a hybrid.

She has her whole life ahead of her.

I have a year and a half.

I begin to cry. I need to tell my mom about my deal.

I feel the wind pick up around me as I cry harder.

I grab my crutches and walk back to the hell hol- sanctuary.

I walk down the hallway and knock on my mom's door.

She answers immediately. "We need to talk mom."

Natalie's POV

I sat in my mom's bed and cried. I didn't wanna live like this. There was a knock at the door.

"Come in." I sniffled.

The door opened and my dad walked in.

"Hey Nat, what's wrong?" He asked as he sat beside me on mom's bed.

"Promise you won't get mad?" I ask as I wiped away my tears.

"I can't make any promises, what's wrong?" Dad asked.

"When Crowley kidnapped Madeline and I, he gave me some of Lucifer's blood..." I said quietly.

"He gave you what?!" Dad jumped up.

"I-I didn't want it! I didn't know until Cas told me!" I squealed.

"Who the hell is Cas?" Dad asked.

Shit, even more questions.

"He's a friend." I replied.

"A friend? Are you sure he isn't a boyfriend?!" Dad yelled.

"No! Dad just a friend!" I exclaimed.

"He better be." Dad mumbled as he got up and left my mom's room.

I laid down and I continued to cry until I fell asleep.

I was in a grassy green meadow. There was beautiful white carnations everywhere. They were my favourite flowers...

"Hello?" I called.

The sun beamed on my back and tall trees surrounded the meadow. The wind blew lightly and I saw Castiel.

"Where am I?" I ask.

"This is the light part of your mind. The angelic side." Cas said.

"What's my otherside like?" I asked scared.

"That's for Crowley to know and for you to never find out." Cas stated.

"Cas what is the key?" I ask.

"Your amulet." Cas said.

"Amulet?" I question.

Everything went white.

Madeline's POV

"You what!" She exclaims.

I look up at her and see tears pouring from her eyes. It pains me to see her like this

"I sold my soul to keep Natalie alive." I whisper loud enough for her to hear.

She rub her forehead and sobs. "Does she know?" My mother asks.

I nod and take a deep breath as she moves closer to hug me. I tighten the embrace.

"Only a year and a half?" She asks. I nod into her shoulder and she hugs me even tighter.

"My baby, so noble, yet I wish it didn't have to be this way." She says as she looks at me.

Her eyes are glassy yet at the same time beautiful. "Go see your dad, spend some time with him."

I nod and grab my crutches. I prop myself on them and walk out of her room.

I walk down the cold stone hallway and see my dad across the hall. I hurry over to him and give him a hug.

"Hey Maddy, what do you need?" He asks. I take a deep breath for probably the one thousandth time that day.

"I told my mom about the deal." I state. He purses his lips "How did she take it?"

"She thought I was noble, but wished it didn't have to be used like this." My father nods and sits against the wall.

I sit beside him and he mutters "Your mother was always right."

Just wait until I tell them about my tattoo that I have no idea got there.
