His Butterfly

Chapter 28

"I found an apartment about two miles away, it's got two bedrooms and a bathroom. I told the owner we would go look at it in an hour." The manager told me as we sat in the dorms living room. "Great, I'll go get dressed and then we can make our way there." I responded and ran down to my room, knocking before I went in. 

Rap Monster was laying on his bed watching something on his laptop when I walked past to my dresser. I grabbed jeans and a decent t-shirt and dressed in the bathroom. "Where are you going?" Rap Monster asked when I walked out of the restroom. "To go check out an apartment. It's about two miles away from here so it's not far at all. I've got to be there in about an hour or so." I told him and fixed my hair in my vanity mirror.

"Oh, well do you want me to come with you?" He asked pausing his video. "You don't have to, the manager is coming. I can ask him if you can come too." I said walking in front of his bed. "Nah, he's got it covered. I thought you were going alone so I was just offering." He said to me. "Maybe you can come with me instead, I'll go see." I said and walked out before he could even respond. "Hey PD-nim? Can Namjoon take me?" I asked him.

 "Uh.....I guess. That should be fine. Actually that might work out better. I have to go pick up my daughter from school anyways so that's actually better." He said and stood up to go leave. "Here I'll write down the address, just be there in an hour. Tell Namjoon to say you are there to look at the apartment available." He told me and grabbed a pad on sticky notes from his inner pocket, writing down the address. "Thank You! Have fun with your daughter!" I yelled as I walked down the hallway back to Rap Monster and I's room. 

"Get dressed, you get to take me instead." I said and flopped onto his bed. "Okay, we should leave now and then we can stop by a vendor and get a snack before we get there. We can eat while we walk there." He said and closed down his laptop. He grabbed some clothes and went to change in the bathroom.

"So how do you like it?" Namjoon asked as I took a bite of my fish shaped goodness. "Owh, mwh, gah. It tastes so good!" I started to speak with my mouth full. "Good, I can't believe you haven't had one of these yet." He said and took a bite of his.

 "Yeah, I always saw them and people talked about them but I guess I've been so busy with you guys that I forgot to ask where to get them." I told him. We are about fifteen minutes from the address according to Namjoon's phone. I just hope I'll like the location and the rental person. "Rap Monster! OH MY GOD, IT'S RAP MONSTER FROM BTS!!!" A girls across the street from us screamed and pointed to Namjoon and I. "Shit, come on." He mumbled and took my hand as the mob of girls ran across the street to us. 

He started running and when we got into a crowd he ducked his head and then quickly pulled us into a shop with a couple other people who were entering the same shop. The girls got caught up in the crowd and we moved into a corner of the store, away from the windows. "Well, that was fun. Here try these on." He said and pulled down a bucket hat from the rack conveniently placed by us. I pulled it on my head and he nodded his head then pulled one on his head. 

He grabbed my wrist and dragged me around a corner where there were sunglasses and placed a pair on me after looking for a minute. He grabbed his from his pocket and then went to the front counter where there were face masks. He grabbed one that was black and white for him and a black and pink one for me. "We'll take these." He placed everything on the counter and the man rang it all up and then Namjoon placed it all back on me. 

He payed and then placed his stuff back on his head. We cautiously walked outside and noticed the gaggle of crazy teenage girls was gone. We kept our heads down and continued walking to the apartment.
