"PD-nim. I really need to talk to you, when can set aside a meeting for us?" I asked him over the phone. "Uh, I can meet with you later tonight?" He said. "That would work. I just need to talk to you about my job. Do you want to meet for dinner?" I asked him.
"That works, I'll go ahead and make reservations and get a table where it won't be too difficult to discuss matters. You aren't quitting are you..?" He asked me. "Oh, no! Never, I just need to speak with you. I'll see you later then right?" I said to him. "Yes, I'll text you when I get a car ready for you. I'll see you at 7." He told me. "Okay see you then, bye." I hung up.
I was cleaning my guest room and parts of the house. Ren is coming sometime in these next days and my house was looking a little too cluttered. While I was cleaning upstairs I hear something fall from downstairs.
I stood up straight and grabbed the broom I had with me. I walked on my tip toes to the stairs and I heard someone cursing in a whisper.
"Who's there?" I called out. "It's just me, Taehyung." The person called back and I marched down the stairs with broom still in hand.
"Kim Taehyung, you brat. What the hell?" I yelled at him and poked my broom at his chest. Who does he think he is sneaking into my house after almost a week of not contacting me. "Look I'm sorry." He tried.
"No, you have to try much better than that. Why haven't you been answering any of my attempts to contact you?" I asked him and I had the broom still on his chest as I distanced myself from him.
"Okay. So we have been really busy with writing and singing, making up choreography. I'm really sorry. I got all your messages. I wasn't sure what to tell you, I know you are mad at me." He said with his head down.
"Hell yeah I'm mad at you!" I told him and jabbed him with the broom. "You have the right to be mad at me. I will take everything you do to me because I deserve it." He said and I slowly lowered my broom, dropping it to the floor.
I walked closer to him and he held his arms out expecting a hug, so I also placed my arms outward, only to smack him on the back of his head. "I should have seen that coming..." He winced and rubbed the back of his head. Once he got over the fact that his head now has a slight bruise he just smiled at me. That when I actually looked at him.
"You're wearing contacts, and you changed your hair color." I pointed out the obvious. I can't believe I didn't notice his hair was now dirty blonde and he had green contacts in.
His smile grew larger and he nodded his head. "When did you do this?" I asked and ran my hand through his hair. "Two days ago. And the contacts I started today." He told me. He grabbed my hand from his hair and held it. "I know I can't make anymore excuses and I can't say sorry enough times but can you forgive me?" He asked me.
I looked back at his artificially colored eyes and nodded. "I can't stay too mad at you. I was becoming a mess without you here to bug me." I complained and added a small smile. "Really? You missed me that much? Now I feel even more terrible." He pouted and stomped his feet a little.
"No, it's okay. But I mean you obviously came here to help me clean right?" I stated more than asked. "Of course Jagi." He responded and picked up the broom I dropped on the floor. He marched up the stairs and shed his sweatshirt on the way there.
I caught it folded it neatly and placed it on the couch. "Okay! Where are we cleaning?" He asked and stood leaning with the broom as a cane. "Guest Bedroom." I pointed him in the direction and I followed him in.
