Sadie walked into the classroom slowly, making sure no one else was inside.
She checked back at her texts to make sure she put the papers in the right spot.
She couldn't afford to mess up. If they revealed anything about her, and word got out.
Her mom would for sure kick her out of the house.She shook the image from her brain.
She did a lot of that these days.The text said the top drawer of Mr.K's desk.
She carefully opened it, and put the papers inside.
She tried not to make any noise.
His desk was old and squeaky, and it was creepy being in this giant building all by herself. I mean, she thought she was by herself.This time, she couldn't shake away the thought.
She carefully closed the desk, and checked the time. It was only 6:40.
There was plenty of time before school started.
She looked around the room to make sure she didn't leave anything behind, and walked out the room, carefully closing the door behind her.
