Reluctantly I slipped my fingers away from hers- but it was for a good cause I suppose. I grasped the door handle and pulled it open for her to walk through.
"Well, thank you." She said with a joking smile. We don't go out to fancy places a whole lot. It's not normally our thing. So when we do we joke around with it and make a little fun to lighten the seriousness by making a little fun of it.
We were seated by a window and as always I ordered the same thing she did. The conversation was smooth and we were laughing and having a great time.
She turned her head and gazed out the window. Her eyes lit up and her smile widened with the sight of the snow. She loves the winter and looks really adorable when she's enjoying it.
"Look at the snow! Isn't it beautiful?" She inquired.
To be honest I wasn't paying attention that much to the snow. I was more focused on her deep green eyes glowing in the light of the snow- her wavy blonde hair flowing over her shoulders and down along her dress- her priceless expression watching the snow fall.
"Gorgeous" I said about her disguised as an answer...
Her eyes met mine catching me stating at her.
"What..." She asked smirking at me.
"Nothing..." I joked.
She laughed and turned back to the snow.
Everything was going perfectly. Our waitress came with our food on a platter.
"Shall we?"
