I stayed up all night. I couldn't sleep. How could I? There was so much to think about- so much to do! I spent slot of the night looking through pictures of us together. I must have practiced opening that box a thousand times. And I must have recited what I was going to say a thousand more times than that. Getting dressed I pulled on my pants and realized that my carpet had given me a rug burn on my left knee from kneeling all night.

I began tying my tie in the mirror and stared at the boarder of pictures of her and I. I smiled as I pulled off one of the pictures and looked it over.

"She is my everything" I said to myself.
I set the picture down still thinking through the memories of that night and grabbed my phone out of my pocket.

"Hey, you- 20 minutes okay?"

"Perfect- I'll be waiting"

I threw my jacket over my shoulders, grabbed the black box off the desk, and dropped it in my pocket. I flew the door open so hard that it bounced off the wall and shut behind me as I ran through. Tonight was going to be perfect.
