I walked with Luke and Jason by my sides. I finally saw Ginger, but not exactly the way I was hoping.

She was sitting in the lap of none other than Lovino himself. I froze and looked at Luke and flinched when I saw the hurt in his eyes.

"Luke..." He ignored me and turned around, holding the paper in his hand. "This was a mistake. I'm sorry for bothering you Raine." Jason gave me a look that said 'do something.' I grabbed Luke's arm and looked him in the eye. "I'm not giving up on you that easy. GINGER!"

She looked up from eating Lovino's face and sighed. "What Raine?" I kicked Jason and grabbed his hand, entwining my fingers with his.

"Ginger I need you to meet someone!" Jason have me a look and said,"Rae what are you doing?" I kicked him again as Ginger got up and walked over. "Go along with it."

I giggled and stepped forward, grabbing Luke's arm in the process. "Oh Raine, I see you finally got together with someone..." Ginger winked and I sent Jason a glare when he winked at me.I fake smiled and continued. "This is Jason, MY GUY BEST FRIEND from when I was little," i smirked at the look on his face. "And this is Luke." I gently shoved Luke forward and he stopped a few inches from Ginger.

Ginger was a tall girl, but not taller than Luke. "Nice to meet you Luke." He blushed and shook her hand. "I think we're gonna be good friends...which reminds me. Lovino!"

The boy walked over, slinging his arm around Ginger and getting a little too close to her chest for my approval. I moved his hand away and frowned when he brought it back.
"This is Lovino. My boyfriend."

I saw Luke flinch slightly and gave Lovino a fake smile that said, 'I don't like you.'

Lovino ignored it and continued staring at his phone. I rolled my eyes and shoved Lovino's arm away completely. "Ginger can I talk with you?"

She nodded and walked with me to the huge oak tree in the middle of the patio. "Ginger, I know you like Lovino and all, but doesn't he seem like a bit of a player?"

She sighed and ran a hair through her Raven locks. "Raine, I feel more in love with him than I've ever felt with anyone. I feel like he's the one." I stuttered. "B-but-" she cut me off. "No buts. He's the one. I can feel it."

Maybe he was the one for her back then.

But people change.

People lie.
