Hey guys I'm gonna give you a really long, but tragic, chapter because y'all deserve it and I'm really really sorry for not updating... Btw, Y'all are gonna hate me...

I sat on my couch, holding a tiny, white cat in my lap. I had found her wandering around Ginger's grave, the inside of her legs and the bottom of her stomach a bright purple. I named her Violet. She sorta just helped me... cope with Ginger's death.

I heard a sudden burst of violin music come from the small table next to my couch and Violet jumped off my lap and hit the ground with a hiss then ran down the hall, somewhere.

I picked up my phone and noticed it was an unknown number. I slid the answer button and answered. "Raine Viola speaking."

"Hi, this is Nurse Hollyfeild, from the Mercy Hospital of Oklahoma City. Do you know..." I heard a shuffling sound then the sound of a page being turned. "Luke Ryan Garcia?" I froze then answered, "yes ma'am, I do."

I heard her take in a breath then speak again. "I'm sorry honey. Luke has just been brought in. He was in a fatal accident. Drunk driver. We don't think he has very long..."

My eyes widened and I began to tremble. "I'll be there soon." I hung up and couldn't stop my breaths that came in harsh gasps. I dialed Jason as fast as I could and began to cry when he answered.

"Raine?"

"Jason, Luke is in the hospital. We need to go now, they don't think he's gonna live." I heard silence on the other phone, then his voice rushed , his words barely making sense. "I'll be there soon Raine, be ready to run out. Bye."

He hung up and I ran into my room and grabbed the ring I'd been gifted. Ginger's ring. I ran in the hall, wiping tears from my eyes, then I remembered something.

I quickly ran into the room Jason and Luke shared and grabbed the frame from beside Luke's bed.

I heard the sound of a horn blast and silently thank God for letting me find the last available apartment on the first floor. Violet jumped onto my shoulder and I held on to her while I ran to Jason's truck. I didn't even bother jumping into the front, knowing it would waste time. I threw Violet into the back of the red, dented pickup trump, then jumped in myself.

"DRIVE JASON DRIVE!!"

He slammed the gas and I tripped over Violet and she let out a weird hiss thing.

I ran into the hospital, my bubblegum hair damp with rain, which had surprised us, and Violet clinging onto my shoulder.

I stopped and the desk and frowned when I could barely see over. "Excuse me, ma'am?"

They lady couldn't have been more than 21 or so and had soft green eyes, and blonde hair pulled into a bun. She looked up and all she probably saw were my caramel colored eyes and blue and pink hair.

"Oh, um, yes?" I sighed and heard Violet mew. "I'm here for Luke Garcia."

She paused and checked the laptop next to her and Jason ran in, stopping next to me. "He's in roooooo..." She stopped at the sight of Jason, probably easily wooed by his appearance. His brown hair was darkened by the rain and stuck to his forehead, and his t-shirt was wet and clung to his skin, which showed off quite nicely.

He rolled his eyes and put his arm around my shoulders, which looked pretty funny considering I was 5'3 and he was 6'1. Violet hissed and he ignored her. "I have a girlfriend, plus I'm 19..." The receptionist flushed madly and suddenly seemed very interested in finding Luke.
