When we finally got to Hogwarts I was scared to leave the train. The compartment I had been sitting in was lonely but at least I was safe. Safe from rejection, denial, and the sorting. Since before I never went back to school, I never had to be sorted. Now, I am being plucked out and forced into a specific House. I wasn't sure where to go so I looked around for any glimpse of red, knowing it would be a Weasley. I found Ron eventually and kept a close, but spacious, distance from him as I followed him. We got into a carriage and I noticed Hermione and Harry were with Ron, and now me. "Hi. I am Eva." I smile, letting myself relax. "Hi, I am Harry." Harry spoke and I gave him a polite nod. "I am Ron Weasley." Ron says happily and I thought about how I was not as close to them before. I need to stop referring to them like I have met them, it was just a dream, stupid! Just a really, really, life-like dream. I shoved the thoughts away and listened to the conversation. They were talking about the Houses so I guessed they were explaining them. Since they were all happy to be chattering, I guess they forgot they each had to wait for another to finish. It was catastrophe. After a few minutes I couldn't help it, I burst out laughing. They stare at me before Ron joins in, and eventually Harry. While Hermione sits there confused. We leave the carriage laughing and I felt tears falling. I don't know why I started laughing but once I started, I couldn't stop. I was laughing at Ron's laugh, Harry was laughing at Ron's and Ron was laughing at his own. I ran into someone and had to gasp out an apology as I finally stopped laughing and glanced my teary face up to see who I ran into. "What did my brother do this time?" George jokes. I smile widely when I see him. "His laugh." I start giggling again. I look beside George and see Fred. I keep my thoughts of my imaginary world away as I walk with them to the castle. "So, you are the transfer?" Fred asks. "Yes, my brother and I moved here from America." I felt skittish. "Well, my name is Fred and this is George." George says. "No you aren't." I blurt out. Shit. "What? How do you know?" Fred asks quickly. "My name is Eva. I have to go get sorted." I tell them before quickly leaving, glad I had an excuse.
An: Where should I put Elliot house wise? I was thinking Ravenclaw for some reason but I don't know. But if I put him in Gryffindor he will be with the twins. I also don't know where to put Eva. I'm leaning towards a specific House for her but I am not sure. I'm still trying to decide all these things.
