Ryan: Hey, Grace.
Grace: What's up?
Ryan: Today's the day my parents died.
Grace: ...Do you want to tell me about them?
Ryan: They were really good people. My mom – she was a gardner. She loved plants. Even owned a little flower shop. It was a good place. People always went there to get flowers and be greeted by my mom. She was a sweet woman. My dad was a restaurant owner. He was a great boss. His employees loved him. They even threw him a surprise 48th birthday party – I helped, by the way – and everyone in my neighborhood attended. I wish they were still here. You would've loved them, Grace. I know you would've.
Grace: I think I would've too. (Smiles.)
