Victoria stayed upon the woman, with her child.
"Will she be okay?" Denise asked.
Victoria nodded, "She will...she always is."
As soon as Victoria had said those words, the woman slowly rose.
"Mama!" Denise exclaimed, scrambly to her mother.
Victoria held her tightly still looking at the woman, "Dehana..."
The woman looked at Victoria, "D-Do I know you..."
Victoria cried then opened her arms out and gave her a hug.
Dehana didn't know who she was, but enjoyed the warmth of the hug. Denise smiled, she loved to see her mother happy.
"Dehana...its Victoria!" Victoria announced.
Dehana stood blank, "V-Victoria...?"
Victoria nodded.
Dehana gave Victoria a hug, "I thought you were dead."
"I was just finally given a family." Victoria cried.
"Thank G-G..." Dehana said.
"Thank God, you mean to say." Victoria laughed.
Dehana twitched, "Haha, yeah."
Victoria noticed the twitch, but didn't care to ask.
Denise indeed noticed also, "Why did you twitch?"
Dehana looked at the child, "No reason..."
"Oh, how I miss you Dehana." Victoria said changing the subject.
Dehana smiled, "I surely did miss you too."
"Let me take you to my place." Victoria said helping Dehana,up.
Dehana nodded in silence.
The two talked as Denise strolled her sibling along.
They finally reached to a small but beautiful cottage, with beautifully settled flower beds along the side of the home.
"Here we are to my humble home." Victoria smiled.
"Quite beautiful, can't wait to see your husband, you must have a husband for such beauty."
Victoria went silent. Dehana glared at her with confusion then at Denise. Denise had sighed and walked inside a room in the cottage. Few seconds later she came back with a picture of her father.
"This is my daddy...he died on some disease the doctors didn't have a cure for."
Dehana held the picture and stared at it, then she looked at Victoria who was still silence by the sudden question.
"Sorry to hear that." Dehana said to Denise still looking at Victoria.
Denise nodded and went to put the picture back. Dehana walked over to comfort Victoria. She was about to lay a hand on her shoulder but she pulled back.
"I'm sorry Victoria."
Victoria looked up filled with tears, "There's nothing I could have done to prevent, and its not your fault whatsoever."
Dehana sighed, "I wish to help cure that lonely feeling in your heart."
Victoria looked up at Dehana, "Why do you say that?"
Dehana chuckled, "I can see it right through you."
Victoria looked at her chest, she laid her hands on her chest.
Dehana wrinkled up her nose then smiled.
Denise came back with bread and jam on a plate.
"Would you like some?" Denise asked setting the plate down on a little table."
Dehana shook her head, "I've consumed enough today."
Denise looked at Dehana's thin body, looked like she had not eaten food for years. Denise just nodded.
Dehana twitched again, but this time she wasn't in the cottage...or she thought she wasn't in the cottage anymore.
Instead, she saw Victoria with another man, who looked to be the same age as Victoria and looked rich and very well taught. He had blonde hair, quite muscular, and a kind look. The two were talking then, he pulled out a ring and purpose to her.
Dehana smiled, but right after that shebtwitched and was back in the cottage.
"What just happened?" Dehana said to herself.
She looked around just to see if things were normal, she saw Denise eating her bread and jam, and saw Victoria coming with some coffee.
"Victoria, was your husband...blonde?" Dehana asked.
"Oh no, no. He had black hair." Victoria calmly smiled.
Dehana nodded, and said to herself, "Am I seeing the future?"
Dehana closed her eyes and thought, "Are my new powers good or bad?"
A small voice had said good, but was interrupted by the larger group of little children voices, "Missy Lou, Missy Lou, you're such a devil, killing is what you do."
Dehana shook her head to clear the noise.
"I'll have to find out myself..."
