**Knock Knock**
A knock was heard on the door.
"It must be Lucy!" Denise exclaimed with happiness.
"Settle down, Denise." Victoria smiled as she walked to the door. She slowly opened it and saw a tall black woman, with a little girl who looked to be her daughter.
"Mrs.Palmer its so good to see you, and Lucy you've gotten taller." Victoria greeted.
"Its good to see you too and it runs in the family." Mrs.Palmer smiled as she looked at her daughter.
"Is Denise here?" Lucy said peeking around the room, "Mama I see her!".
"Oh run along, child." Mrs.Palmer grinned as she let her daughter play with Denise.
"Oh come in." Victoria gestured.
Mrs.Palmer proudly entered, but stopped after a few steps when she saw Dehana.
"Missy Lou." She whispered to herself.
Dehana walked towards Mrs.Palmer and greeted her, "Why Hello...I'm Dehana, but you obviously know me as Missy Lou."
Mrs.Palmer didn't say a word, she stood there with such fright.
"Lucy dear, we ought to leave this place." Mrs.Palmer finally said.
"But ma, we just----"
"Now Lucy, you listen and listen good, we ain't gonna stay her much longer."
Victoria sighed, "Oh dear child, listen to your mother."
Lucy frowned and so did Denise. Denise looked at Dehana...was she a threat?
Mrs.Palmer rushed her child out of the cabin quickly, while Victoria and Denise stood in such shock at what happened.
"I'll go make supper."Victoria finally announced.
"Is there anything you might need help with?" Dehana asked.
"Oh not at all." Victoria frowned, "You've done enough."
Victoria walked out, leaving Denise with Missy Lou.
"Who are you, really?" Denise asked.
Dehana looked down upon her and swallowed hard.
"Missy Lou..." Dehana spoke.
"Why are you called Missy Lou, if I may ask?"
"...I was a great danger to this town." Dehana spoke softly, avoiding eye contact with Denise, "I had my bad years, but I've stopped to live a normal life."
Denise looked deep in Dehana's eyes, "Tell me about you bad years..." Denise curiously asked.
"Oh I mustn't bring my bad memories in such gentle and innocent ears."
Denise grabbed her hand,"Come on, you can tell me."
Dehana sighed," When Madam...took your mother away and, said she had killed her I was with such sadness and anger. When I finally escaped, I vowed to kill her, when I had grown older. When I did... I came back and indeed killed her. I enjoyed killing her that I wanted to do so to more people, so I did, sadly. I highly regret all of it."
Denise let go of Dehana's hand, and ran to where her mother was.

"So...you killed Madam." Victoria asked, as she ate her last bite of cabbage.
Dehana slowly sipped her cup of water, then nodded.
"Dehana why? What good does that bring?" Victoria said rising from her seat.
Dehana looked up at her then sighed, "I was just... You won't understand."
Victoria slammed her hand on the small table, "WHY DONT YOU TELL ME!"
" No te atrevas a elevar su voz en mí, lo lamentarás! "
Victoria sat back down in her seat, "I just want to help you."
Denise looked at her mother, who was about to cry.
"Some people just don't need any help." Dehana said leaving her seat.
"Where are you going?" Denise asked.
"Somewhere...but I will return." Dehana said softly.
She left the cabin and into the cold night.
"Mama what is she doing...?"
"There's no telling what she's going to do..."
