I yawned as I walked to my class. I had only four hours of sleep last night. I knew it was unhealthy but I had to earn money since all my good for nothing dad ever do is leave the house and only comes back once every two months.

So basically I had to fend on my own.

I sat on my usual seat and took out my pencil case from my bag but not before an annoying voice behind me spoke.

"Hey!" Jace whispered behind me.

"What?" I snapped, turning around to faced him.

His brown hair was hidden underneath a maroon beanie and was wearing a leather jacket. I will be lying if I say he didn't look cute.

But that's all in the head.

So it was alright.

"What the hell happened to your hand?" His asked, eyes fixed on my right hand which was bandaged up.

"Again. Why do you care?"

"Erm well, you're my friend. And friends care. " He emphasized on the last word.

"But the thing is I don't care about you. Last time I heard, best friends means both parties actually wants to befriend each other not one sided."

"Dam, that was harsh.."

I rolled my eyes and that's when the teacher came in.

For the rest of the lesson, Jace kept asking me about my bandaged hand. Even using random people to come up to me and 'ask'. Even proceeded to threatened me that if I don't tell him, he would tell the entire school that I have an unhealthy obsession with him.

And until I got to the point of almost wanting to punch his face when he took an unglam picture of me.

That happened when I was in the cafeteria, sitting at my seat when I caught Jace looking at me. I scoop a spoon of yoghurt, putting in my mouth while staring daggers at him.

And instead of going straight into my mouth, it ended on my nose. My cheeks heat up and I quickly used a napkin to wiped it off.

Little did I know, Jace's fast fingers took a photo of me at the oh-so-perfect timing.

Jace and I ended up at the school field, with him threatening me and waving his phone teasingly at me. I growled and reached to grabbed his phone but him, being taller than me, he raised it up.

I jumped and tried reaching for it but he only held it higher. I didn't realized that while I was trying to reach for his phone, I ended up using his shoulder for support. I was hoping to use his shoulder to make me jump higher.

His big hands placed on the back of my lower back didn't go unnoticed either.

Annoyed that he was laughing like a Hyena, I thought of something I should have done earlier.

I kicked him in the balls.

A different kind of ball that was used in the field.
