Chapter 5- Old Friends, New Enemys

Dagger

What's she doing? I thought to myself as I scurried down the hall with the piece of paper Saph had given me in my mouth. I ran until I came to an area that smelled horrid. This is it. I got in and there was a poorly taken care of stable with four horses in it. I scrambled up to the door of a horse with a light-brownish coat and a black mane and tail in the dim light. When the horse saw me it snorted at me and I rolled my eyes and said 'Really Blaze? It's me, Dagger.' with some thin that made it because we were both close enough to Saph we could understand each other, it was weird. Blaze widened her eyes in surprise "Dagger you're here? What's going on? Where's Saph? W-"
I cut her off. "First of all slow down, second of all, well I don't know about Saph at the moment but-" Now she cut me off. "Don't know?! Why did you leave her?!" Blaze exclaimed. "Blaze, calm down! Look I need you to listen to me. Alright?" I asked her trying to calm her down. Blaze nodded her head. "Okay, first I need to know if you or any other horse here can carry another person without being slowed down to much." I asked her. She thought for a moment "Well I definitely could and I'm pretty sure Shimmer could, Why?" She asked. "Okay, good to know. So here's the situation." I said then told her about what happened with Saph and what she told me and what she wanted them to do. Blaze looked at me in shock. "Please Blaze, were leaving at three no matter what, we need you." I told her pleadingly. She nodded and took what seemed like a deep breath. "Okay, I'll help but I'm waiting at Saph's master's house."I nodded understanding. "Just remember you have a herd to look after as well Blaze." She nodded sadly as an understanding. "See you soon Blaze." Then I jumped down from the gate and headed back to the room.

Blaze

"I don't understand why she would do this, I thought that she would get me herself to." I knelt down."What's happened!?" I exclaimed stamping my hoof on the ground. "Blaze what's going on?!" Shimmer asked me concerned. "It's nothing, don't worry about it." I told her. "Really? It doesn't seem like nothing." Flare said. "I said it's nothing." I told them starting to get annoyed. "Blaze, what is going on?!" Flame asked me angrily. "I TOLD YOU IT'S NOTHING!" I yelled and reared up angrily, turning around so I wouldn't see any of them.

Dagger

I ran through the halls trying to get to the room as fast as possible. She told me to do this in my own language. She risked them finding out I was there to tell me so it has to be important. I won't let you down I promise. I thought to myself. I ran as fast as I could and when I got there we had two hours until we left. I ran into the room and climbed the wall and jumped on Skye's head with the note in my mouth making sure I didn't ruin it.

Skye

"Gaaaaa!" I yelped as something landed on my head. I saw that the lizard that brought us to the room, Dagger I think Saph called him, jump on to my shoulder then lightly scratched my arm. "Uhhh, Sarah, your the nature expert, what does it want. The lizard glared at me(at least I think it did) and kept scratching my arm. "First of all 'it's' a 'he' and he wants to give you something, it's in his mouth." Sarah told me. I laughed nervously "Oh, right. Totally saw that." I said. Dagger looked up at me unimpressed(I swear he understood us). Sarah rolled her eyes and walked over to me opening her hand so Dagger could climb onto it. Dagger jumped onto Sarah's hand and Sarah took the note from his mouth. Sarah opened the note and her face gave a look of fear and disbelief. "What is it?" Sophie asked. Bronwyn walked over to Sarah and took the note. Bronwyn swallowed and told us "To- to sum it up she expected to be captured and wrote this note, she said to follow Dagger and he would lead us to escape and that Blaze would know what to do. She- she said" Bronwyn looked like she was about to cry but she continued on. "She said that she would do her best to meet up with us at a house that Blaze and Dagger would lead us to and if we meet anyone on the way they will recognize Blaze and either try to kill us or help us." Bella cut in sarcastically saying "Oh that's just great!" Bronwyn glared at her and she went quiet again. "Saph wants us to go and trust her, she also said that if she doesn't catch up expect the worst." Bronwyn finished. At the last part everyone was shocked and understood why Sarah and Bronwyn got so scared reading it. Her best friend is telling them that she is expecting to die here! We were all scared and then saw something Dagger scratched on the ground. Two hours. Then he went and layed down in the corner that Saph stayed in at night.
