Somehow, last night, we fell asleep.
and when I wake up, Marley is snuggled up into my chest, snoring softly. I frown slightly, knowing that we can't stay like this forever. Slowly, I grab my phone and check the time.
10:54.
"hhhhmmm" Marley groans softly, turning in her sleep.
"Are you awake?" I whisper, and her eyes flicker open.
"hi" Her voice is small.
"Hey." We stay cuddled up for a few moments, and then I realize what day it is. "I have to get up, I only have a few days to pack a suitcase and then we are leaving."
"I don't want you to leave, Michael." Marley huffs, wrapping her arms around me tightly. "Please stay a little longer, at least for today with me." she's pouting now, looking up at me with sad eyes.
I can't resist those eyes...
"Fiiiinnnnneeee," I sigh," But you have to help me pack."
"Alright." she says, and she rolls over in the bed and I get up. "Do you want to go get some breakfast?" I say, whistle entering the bathroom. I hear her perk up immediately with an excited squeal.
"Yes!"
