Chapter 2: The End

'See you later dude. I'm tired I need sleep.' Alice grabbed her car keys and left Lea's house, a lot less than sober.

Getting into the car she threw away her last can of beer and started to drive. In her drunken state she found it hard to control the car and eventually her eye sight became blurred. Knowing she wasn't safe, Alice decided to take a stop at the side of the road.

What do I do now? She thought to herself, I cant turn up drunk my dad will kill me.

she sat on the side of the road for around an hour debated whether she leave or not, After a while she found herself with a handsome stranger besides her.

'Oh hey there beautiful, what are you doing out here so late?' He spoke softly and smiled. 'And alone? Its not safe here.'

They sat and talked for a few minutes before he suggested she come back to his house. So she went with him.

'Really..I'm surprised such a beautiful girl like you would come spend time with me, Alice.' The mystery man leaned closer to her.

'I have a boyfriend.' She blurted out, before he could make a move and moved away quickly.

'That wont be a problem, beautiful girl..' He placed a hand on her knee and smiled, revealing two sharp teeth. Still he edged closer moving his other hand up her arm eventually to her neck and grasping it tightly. 'Beautiful girl, you shouldn't have been out so late. Its dangerous.'

Alice gasped for breathe trying to speak, scream..anything she could but nothing managed to get out.

Between gasps she managed to let out a few scarce words. 'W-Why..Why are you doing this? W-What are you doing?'

'Shh..beautiful girl, just leave me be.' He tightened his grip and sunk his teeth deep into her neck. She tried to scream but her whole body seemed paralyzed.

What is going on... She had given up trying and so she was left with her thoughts. I-I'm not ready to die..not here..not now. There's so much I still need to do..It cant end here..

His hands were ice cold, but they had a strong grip. As much as she resisted, Alice was stuck there and she wasn't getting away any time soon. Her whole body went limp and she learnt to accept it, there was no hope left. All she could do was sit there..waiting, waiting to be killed.

A few minutes passed, but to them it felt like hours before the mystery man finally removed his teeth from her neck. Blood dripped from his teeth onto his lips and down her neck.

'Beautiful girl,' He wiped the blood from her neck and licked it from his thumb. 'You are amazing.'

Alice simply stared in shock as she processed the events that just took place. She had always been a logical person. She didn't believe in God or any fictional fantasy creatures, she never had. But here it was. In front of her soaked in her own blood, a vampire. They were real, theyre really real. She looked down at her hands, trembling. How could she even know this were her real body? What was she supposed to believe anymore? Everything she believed was just destroyed before her very eyes. A little bit in front of her, behind the man, was a mirror hung on the wall. The girl she saw looking back at her in the mirror was not herself. It wasn't the same person that had gone to a party to get drunk and regret it in the morning. No. This girl she saw in the mirror was a completely different person. Her skin was paler, her hair seemed rapidly greying. The eyes that looked back at her were dull and lifeless. This couldn't be her reflection, it wasn't. She refused to believe it. Her vision began to blur as Alice began feeling light headed.

'Please help me..You've had your fun now let me go. I promise not to tell anyone what happened here..' She reached out to the mysterious man 'I don't want to die.'

He chuckled mockingly. 'I'm afraid you cant leave, beautiful girl.' The mysterious man removed his hands from her leg and neck. 'You will die here. You have no choice in this.'

'Please! Let me go home!' Alice cried out, tears streaming down her face, 'If I'm going to die..I want them with me. I want my family there!'

Her words were cut short as the man left and slammed the door. She was here alone now. Her state began to worsen. She knew she was going to die any minute.

And that's when everything went black.#
