Chapter 10: Unexpected Guest, Venomous Fights Part 2

*Niall’s P.O.V.*

It’s morning time now and I’m alone in my bed; Liam is off somewhere in the room. Last night after he followed me out of the restaurant and to a nearby park he got me to sit down and talk with him. Talking about it still doesn’t settle the uneasy feeling lingering in my stomach.

*FLASHBACK*

“Niall, please stop and let me explain.” Liam pleaded as he continued following me down the street.

“What’s there to explain Liam? Danielle pretty much explained everything. You two broke up and it’s my fault what is there left to tell?” I asked him.

“That’s not exactly the whole truth. Yeah she and I did break up, but you had nothing to do with it; I promise you. She and I were having difficulties. I learned that she had been cheating on me with her dancing partner. So I broke it off with her the morning we left.” He explained.

“Then why did she say it was my fault? How if I never came around you guys would still be better?” I asked still confused.

“She didn’t like that I was so protective over you. I guess she felt that I spent so much time with you and never paid her much attention.” He said back.

“See it is my entire fault,” I yelled “Everyone thinks I can’t take care of myself, and it broke you two up.” I rambled. I grabbed at my hair pulling it letting out a frustrated groan. Liam took my hands in his and pulled them from my hair trying to calm me down.

“Listen to me; I’d choose you and the boys over her any day. I care about you and your safety Ni. Why do you think I watch out for you the most? Because I care! You mean the world to me Niall; you don’t understand what you mean to me. It’s so hard to explain the effect you have on me. I made a promise to myself the day we were put together as a band, and I laid my eyes on you for the first time. I promised myself I’d protect you from any danger. Please, just let me do what I promised myself I’d do?” He begged, at this point he was down on his knees with his head resting on my stomach, and his arms wrapped around my waist. I pulled him up to his feet and wrapped my arms around his waist and buried my head in his neck.

“I’m sorry.” I apologized. He returned the hug. He pulled back to walk down the path a little further until we reached some benches. Not long after sitting in silence we decided to head back to the resort where the other boys were all sat in Harry and Louis’ room. Liam and I didn’t bother going there as well; we went back to our room for the night. Letting them know that we were ok and we talked everything out.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I was so lost in thought I didn’t realize Liam coming in and sitting on the bed next to me.

“Hey Ni?” He asked. I hummed in response.

“About yesterday at the restaurant what did you mean when you said ‘this is only the beginning; nobody is safe anymore’? What do you possibly think is going to happen?” He asked me.

“It all started a few nights after we got here; I was having these weird feelings in my stomach like something wasn’t right. I didn’t pay much attention to it. They started getting worse the night Louis told us about his mom’s boyfriend. He came and talked to me later that day, and he told me before he auditioned for X-Factor Jack was arrested because the neighbors saw the bruises he left on Louis, but anyway as they took him away he was screaming at Louis how it was his fault, and when he was out he’d find him and make him pay for getting him arrested. Ever since then I’ve been having nightmares with a man I’ve never seen before. Whoever he was never spoke, but the very last one I had he opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. I was only able to make out ‘I’m coming for him’. I still feel like something is wrong. I’m scared Li, I honestly am. So much has already happened in the 9 days we’ve been here. Everything from Louis’ having  flashbacks, learning Harry having his own personal problems, Danielle being here causing problems for you Eleanor causing more problems for Louis. It’s all too much.” I explained.
