Chapter 11: Forgive Me, Give Me another Chance

*Harry’s P.O.V.*

I woke up to a blinding light and a killer headache. When I opened my eyes I saw an angry Liam staring at me with his arms crossed over his chest.

“What?” I asked him. He just glared at me.

“What the hell were you doing last night?” He raised his voice at me. I flinched at the sudden change of volume. I was very confused as to what he was talking about. Most of last night was all a blur to me.

“What do you mean?” I asked him.

“You were snogging that tramp last night; right in front of Louis!” he yelled at me. My eyes widened in realization as it was all coming back to me. I was having a few drinks and dancing until a girl who was completely wasted pushed me up against a wall attacking my neck with her lips.

“Shit.”  I cursed to myself.

“You need to go talk to him. He left the club pretty upset last night.” He informed me. I jumped out of whosever bed I was in—not really caring about how awful I must look right now—and ran to my room. Thankfully I brought my room key with me. I unlocked the door and noticed it was really quiet. I looked around and noticed Louis was nowhere to be found. I checked his room and mine and still found nothing. I knew he was in here because the shoes he wore last night were by one of the couches. The only place left to look was the bathroom. I walked up to the door and tried to turn the handle. The door was locked. God please let him be ok.

“Louis open up the door!” I yelled. I heard movement coming from the other side of the door.

“Why should I?” He bitterly asked.

“I need to talk to you.” I plainly said. I heard him huff in annoyance. A moment later I heard the ‘click’ of the lock and the door opened. There Louis stood in front of me looking like a right mess. His hair was in all different directions, his clothes were wrinkled, and his eyes were bloodshot.

“What you saw last night was not what it looked like.” I flat out said.

“Oh really; because to me it looked like you were getting all close and friendly with that girl last night, and you made no effort to push her away.” He spat angrily.

“Louis you don’t understand; I did try getting her off me. I swear on my life. I love you Louis I could never hurt you like that!” I said a bit louder than expected then I froze in my spot realizing what I just said.

“You what?” He asked his body started to tremble. I turned around and went to sit on the edge of his bed. I patted the empty spot motioning him to sit next to me. When he sat down he turned his body to face me. It’s now or never. He needs to know how I feel.

“When I first met you in the bathrooms I knew we had a special connection; something nobody was and still is never able to understand. You understand me better than anyone else. I understand you just as well. When you got together with Eleanor I knew things would never be the same with us. I tried pushing away the weird feeling I got when I was around you, but in the end they always came back. I envy Eleanor so much. Knowing that she’s the one you’re spending all your time with, who you love as much as she loves you even if you don’t show it, and worst of all who at the end of the day she’s who holds your heart.” I finished as I felt tears clouding my eyes. I blinked multiple times to get rid of them as I sat waiting for him to reply. He sat in silence reading my face as if to search for any signs of lying. When he found none he decided to speak.

“Harry I don’t know how you think I could ever love her as much as I love you. I’ve been questioning if I really even love her. Sure I liked her in the beginning, but then I saw how everything changed between us. I don’t want her anymore. I’ve known since a little before the trip that you’re the only one I want.” He said. I couldn’t hold my tears in anymore I let them freely fall as I pulled his body into mine for a bone crushing hug. I pulled back to ask him the question I’ve been wanting to ask him for the longest time.
