Helpless in the night

Chapter 3

I woke up to the screams of other humans. I could feel the pain as every breath they took was to keep screaming. I climbed down from the tree and put my hoodie on. I started the adventure towards a safe house. A safe house was a place where people like me could go and call for help. Once I found one then it blew up as soon as someone else stepped inside, that was my friend. Kathrine. I met her a long time ago when we were in here and we became partners and did everything together to survive.

*Flashback*

I ran deep into the forest running away from the creature that was following me. I hear them coming closer and I trip every few seconds. I feel a nip on my heels of the creature and let out a small screech.

"EEKK!" I say as I pick up the pace.

I run faster as I hear the creatures stop to catch there breath and I get pulled into a tree. 

"Shhhh." They say as they cover my mouth and I stop scrambling.

The creatures went right past us and I turned around and saw I was inside a safe house. My first one. This is where I met Kathrine. 

*Flash out* 

I ran towards a red light, signaling the safe house and ran faster. Most safe houses allowed only one person at a time but the secretive ones allowed two. 

"That's my house!" I heard someone scream and attacked me to the floor. 

I wrestle the person knocking them off of me and strain to reach the house. I hear them pull out a knife and they throw it at my leg. I scream in pain. I feel the blood rush out and I start to black out. They have hit my muscle and I see them scramble to the safe house.

I wake up seeing the same mask staring at me

"Hellooo." he said as a mental paitent
