Helpless in the night

Chapter 6

*Flash Back*

"Mommy, can you do your magic?"

"Sweetie of course I can"

I giggled as my mother played with the water floating in the air. She makes animals and shapes out of them and puts on a show for me. 

The water popped and I was drenched. "Ah! Mommy, that's not nice." I frowned. I look up at my mother and her face is pale. "Mommy are you okay?"

I look at the door and see a dark figure in the door way, my father.

"Now darling what did I say about showing my daughter this magic crap."

My mother stands up and walks to him. "Its okay darling, it does no harm."

He gets angry and shoves my mother against the wall. "WE DON'T ACCEPT THINGS LIKE THIS! WHAT IF PEOPLE FIND OUT. THEN YOU WILL BE TAKEN. UNDERSTAND?" He screams at my mother who is trembling as I clench hard on my covers.

"Sweetie plea-please calm down, it was just a small trick. Just because I am a witch doesn't mean I can't control my magic."

"JUST STOP OKAY!" He sits down. "Just what if our daughter becomes a creature, what will we do?"

"We will teach her."

He laughs. "SHE WILL NEVER LEARN OKAY!?"

He stomped out of the room and the feel of anger still hung around.

*Flash Out*

Ever since that day happened I never saw another magic trick, sometimes I would try myself. But always failed. I slam myself against the tree and let out a big scream. 

"WHYYY!"

"Helloooooo."

I hear a faint voice. I zoom my head around looking and see a flash of someone.

"We still have some business to attend to." He comes closer to me.

I stare deep into his eyes trying to hold my block of confidence hoping I wouldn't break down.

"Sorry, did i startle you?" He grabs my arm and traces his fingers to my neck. "I hope I can get a thank you for the necklace."

I mumble. "Thanks."

He chuckles. "Your welcome. By the way, the names Chad."

"Isn't that a wonderful name." I roll my eyes.

"Is something wrong princess you seem a little blood thirsty, are you on your period?"

I smack him and it echos in the forest.

"No." I say stern

He mumbles as he feels his cheek "Seems like it." He looks back at me. "So I was wondering if we could make a deal?"

I step away from him and keep my distance. "What would this deal be?"

"I will let you out into you home town, if you kill someone for me."

I stay paralyzed for a second, this means I could see my family again, I don't remember how long I have been here but I would be home."Deal."

He smiles and snaps his fingers, I appear in front of my house and have a bracelet that looks like a tracker. 

I knock on my door and see my father answer.

"Hello."
