Kuroko's Sleepover

Chapter 2

The walk to Kuroko's house was so far peaceful, until Kise couldn't contain his excitement and said. "Guys what game are we going to play first when we get to Kurokocchi's house?"

"The first person to break the silence." The dark chuckle of Akashi followed seeing Kise's pale face.

"Akashicchi I-i-i forgot, p-please spare m-me."

"I don't-" Akashi was cut off by the ringing of a phone.

"Excuse me." Kuroko said bringing the phone out of his pocket.

"See, Kurokocchi is talking too." Kise said pointing Kuroko who was having a hushed conversation on the phone.

Akashi's eyes widened slightly as he nodded. "So you're saying I'm blind, eh Ryouta-" Akashi stopped short at the booming sound of someone's laughter, he stopped causing the others to stop on their tracks as well. His heavy gaze fell on the group who immediately pointed at Kuroko.

The blue head held his phone a few feet away from his ear as the booming laughter continued. After a while Kuroko said into the phone. "I just said I'm having a sleepover." The booming laughter resounded in their ears once again, this time instead of waiting Kuroko just hung up with a sigh.

"Is there anything wrong Testu-kun?" Momoi asked slightly amused as the others around her.

"No." Kuroko gave her a warm assuring smile. Before Momoi could react Kagami took a picture.

"Kuroko just smiled." Kagami said once he got a confused look from Momoi. "I'm sending this to everyone. I'm going to have an album."

"It's one of the rarest things in the world." Aomine said surprised followed by choruses from the others.

"It's even rarer than seeing Akashi genuinely smiling." Midorima said with Takao nodding.

"This is what true love can do." Murasakibara said.

"Wow that's rare, Atsushi said a sentence without eating." Himuro said earning a dramatic gasp from Takao.

"How is that rare?" Midorima asked.

"What's rare is that I'm not hearing Kise and Akashi anymore." Kagami said looking around slightly. Before he could say anything else Akashi emerged from the shadows.

"Well, well. It seems that more people want to join the party with Ryouta."

Everyone was too shocked to say anything except Kuroko. "Eh? Akashi-kun please stop."

"Are you-" Akashi stopped short at the chiming of his phone. "Hang on." Akashi took a moment to check his message. "Eh? Testuya smiled?"

"Yes, and I'm sure he will smile for you if you don't kill us."

"Good timing, Taiga." Himuro said while Takao high-fived him.

"It's not easy." Kagami replied with a smug smirk.

"Kuroko will definitely smile at you." Midorima said.

"He will, and he must." Murasakibara added as they all looked at Kuroko.

"What?" Kuroko asked slightly moving away from the group.

"Testu-kun only smiles for me." Momoi stated with a teasing smirk.

"Is that so?" Akashi asked amused as he moved closer to them.

In response Kuroko quickly said. "Here's my house, let's go in." He hurriedly walked up the stairs after opening the grand gates, he picked up his speed until he got into the house gently pulling Momoi along in the process.
