Kuroko's Sleepover

Chapter 7

Akashi never thought he could be tortured in such a way. Countless times they had to stop Kagami from throwing Izuki's book out of the window. Kuroko's earplugs were taken away by Koharu so they could all bear the pain together. However, admist the cringeworthy jokes, there were some that actually made them laugh, they were strategically placed to continue his reign of jokes.

Coincidentally as Izuki was done with them, they reached their destination. They all ran out to the beach and were delighted to see Izuki leaving his bag in the van. They entered the beach house and were immediately awestruck.

"This place is awesome." Kogeni said. "Mitobe agrees."

"Kuroko, you had such a gem hidden away." Riko said glaring at the blue head. "Why didn't you tell us?"

Momoi came to his rescue. "You didn't ask."

"Kuroko looked at Momoi with sparkles in his eyes. You're perfect, he thought-" Kise narrated while Murasakibara made dramatic noise in the background.

"Stop it!" Hayate sighed. "Can you guys help with some of these things, I don't get why we packed so much."

"C'mon, Haya. Complaining won't get you anywhere." Shizune said tugging his sleeve.

"But it would make them completely drained." Hayate said and Shizune rolled her eyes at her friend.

"Let's go to the beach!!!" Sandy said running into the room with her bikini. "What are we waiting for!!" Her positive attitude swept them all along, the next thing they knew they were running towards the beach.

The Seirin team split up and went to different stalls accompanied by Kasamatsu. Claire watched as Aia and Akashi were walking around looking for the perfect spot, she was sure she heard some groans of frustration from Aia of how picky Akashi was.

"When did they get so close?" Koharu asked suddenly out of nowhere. Claire held back a scream and shrugged in response.

"Maybe at the mall? Ahmya is also warming up to the yellow Teletubby." Claire said and the two laughed. The rest were playing in the water, attracting a lot of attention to themselves.

"His name is Kise." Midorima said walking towards the duo with two ice cream cones in his hands.

"We know." Koharu replied.

"Thanks, Shintarou." Claire said receiving her ice cream.

Midorima smiled in return. "No problem." They stayed for a second staring at each other before they looked away, and were met by the blank face of Koharu.

"O...kay." Koharu drawled out. "I'm going to join them in the water."

"C'mon Ko!" Claire laughed as Koharu dramatically ran and lunged herself at her brothers, she almost made Hayate drown.

Midorima placed down a blanket and the two sat there watching as the others played and relaxed. At one point Kuroko and Momoi left to buy some snacks, Murasakibara following them.

"Do you want to build a sandcastle, Shin?" Claire asked breaking the silence. Midorima stared at her with a nervous expression. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know how to build one." Midorima admitted sheepishly.

"It's okay, I'd teach you." Claire said with a bright smile, her smile dropped a few minutes later when she saw Midorima's sand castle looked like an actual castle in comparison to her lump of sand. Claire's attention went to the people still playing in the water and making a lot of noise.

"What are you staring at?" Midorima asked placing stone and shell decorations, and carving out some pillars.

"Those noisemakers." Claire said. "Dude, your sand castle is way better, do you have to put decorations?"
