Spring Valley Area; 10:22 PM:

Dressed in black and inside of a rich, luxurious home, Landon sat on a recliner in a pitch-black darkness. Whose home was this? Why was he dressed in black and sitting in the dark? Well, if it wasn't obvious, then I'll tell you: He was inside of the Governor's second property, the house he had been moved to because of the threat that Landon had made on national television.

Landon could only laugh to himself. He thought they would have been smart enough to get him out of the country before anything bad happened. But that wasn't what happened at all. Instead, Landon hacked into several email accounts and found out that, luckily enough, they were taking him to his second home.

Which was where Landon was patiently waiting.

The time finally came when light seeped into the house from the door being opened. As soon the Governor shut the door, he turned the living room light on and saw a man sitting on his recliner. The Governor momentarily stood in shock before an odd look crossed his idiotic face.

"You must be my security." he nodded, relieved. "You should have turned the light's on instead of sitting in the darkness, my boy! You scared me bout' half to death!"

"Yeah..." Landon stood. "Something like that."

Landon quickly stepped forward up to the Governor and delivered a roundhouse kick that sent the old man into the now closed door. Landon used his gloved right hand to pull out his pistol and his, likewise, gloved left to pull out and screw on a silencer. Kneeling down, Landon pulled out the Governor's cellphone and dialed 911 before setting it back down on the Governor's lap. The female dispatcher spoke from the other side.

"Yeah, there is an emergency." Landon replied. "The Governor is dead."

That was the last voice the dispatcher had heard before she heard a heavy thud and then a door being slammed shut.

Unknown Location - Forest; 10:22 PM:

In front of a small fire sat Jeffery and Kaylee in the pitch black darkness of the night in a forest. Hours earlier they had both escaped from a small, abandoned house without the other two men noticing the two of them leave, but how long could they last traveling aimlessly through the large forest in the midst of night with two men chasing them?

Jeffery poked at the fire with a stick and looked up at a dead silent Kaylee. She stared at the fire, deep in thought. She couldn't help but wonder what Landon was currently doing. Now that she was free, was he killing in vain? Was he doing everything he could for absolutely nothing at all?

"Earlier in the bathroom, why did you freak out like that?" Jeffrey asked.

Kaylee glared at Jeffery, and then looked down. "That's none of your business."

"Fine," Jeffrey replied. "What's your husband's story?"

Kaylee brought one leg over her other leg and brushed her hair back as she leaned back against the tree. She couldn't quite understand what this man's deal was. He kidnapped her and then helped her get away, and now he was trying to get all friendly with her? It didn't make sense to Kaylee.

"Look, I appreciate you helping me get out and all, but you can leave any day now." Kaylee said. "Why exactly are you still here, anyways?"

"Because if I don't get you back, it's only a matter of time before your husband tracks me down and kills me." Jeffery explained. "Trust me, a pussy like me should know that much."

Kaylee looked up from the ground, her glare was now gone. "A long time ago - actually, I guess it just feels like a long time ago...I was raped. And to be honest, now that we're alone, I'm terrified of being alone with any other man than Landon." Kaylee vaguely explained what had happened, and even began to confide in the same man that had kidnapped her.
