Jungkook Pov
I don't remember how long I ran. My head felt like a jumbled mess and my legs just kept moving. I also had forgot I was dragging along Haeri.

"Jungkook. Please, please stop..." She begged

I turned around and saw her legs give out, "Haeri!?"

She opened her bag messily and dug out an inhaler, she took two deep breaths and then sighed.

"... I'm sorry, I didn't know you couldn't run." I said helping her up

"It's alright, just next time you plan to run give me a heads up haha" she said putting away her inhaler, "let's go there." She said pointing towards a cafe.

We had entered and took a table near the back. I had ordered an Americano and she got some tea. Although she was Ina's best friend, I never really had a proper conversation with her. In fact, this is my first time really looking at her. She had long black hair and a small birthmark under her left eye.

"Uhh.. Haeri?" I asked nervously tapping my fingers on the table
"Mm?" She replied
"Umm..." I suddenly felt a loss for words

From the corner of my eye I could see her wipe her face quickly and sniff.

"Your orders are ready." The barista said handing us the drinks

I took them and handed Haeri hers but she remained motionless, and for a while we sat in silence.

"Jungkook?" Haeri asked taking a sip from her tea, "You loved Ina right?"
Her words struck me like a stone, I couldn't speak.
"Of course you do. Maybe if I was a better person, Jin wouldn't have..."

"It's not your fault Haeri. This was on them, you shouldn't put it on yourself." I said putting down my cup

She looked up from the ground for the first time since we entered, "Jungkook, would you like to make a deal with me?"

I looked into her eyes and they were unwavering from mine, "what's the deal?"

"Let's get revenge together." She said picking up her cup

"Huh? Revenge?" I almost choked

"They hurt you and I, are we just going to break up and have them have each other? Do they even know how we feel? No they don't. Let's just, for a week or two, look like we're getting close and then make them see us together. Then we can break up with them. Fair right?" She asked placing her cup down

"It'd only be for a week right?" I asked looking down

"Yep, then we can dump them like how they treated us." She said

"Alright. Seems simple enough." I shrugged

"One condition, we promise to not fall in love with each other." She held out her pinky and the gesture made me chuckle

"Deal." I said wrapping my pinky around hers to seal it. I was curious to see how exactly close did she mean?
