The Day the Trio Became the Duo

Bart and B were given some med supplies to help Tori, they weren't sure why. Blue Beetle would kill her without any regret, so why keep her alive? Why keep any of us alive?

Tori started to moan and stir, she was waking up. She opened her eyes to see her brother and B hovering over her like vultures. She waved them away sitting up hissing at the searing pain in her side where she was stabbed. But B helped Tori up and Bart went to look for a way out of the place. Thank god for Tori's fast healing genes, without them she wouldn't be alive right now. Once Tori regained her strength, she and B joined Bart in looking for a way out. B was in a corner when he tripped and ran into a wall, only the wall didn't push him back, it opened." Dum luck" Bart said to B who shrugged his shoulders and together they walked through the door.

The trio had been walking down a long hallway. They were trying every room they could find, then Tori told them she was going to scout ahead. The boy's nodded in agreement. Tori sped off down the hall and ran into something big and hard. "Where do you think your going meat?" Blue Beetle asked grabbing her by the hair(always by the hair). Bart! Grab Bulldozer and run, I've been caught! Leave me. Tori said through the bond partly hoping her brother would disobey her orders. Right then something punched Blue Beetle right in the face! He let go of Tori and she looked at who saved her. It was Bart who sped up and threw B at the beetle. She ran up to them hugging them both. "You can't get away that easily!!!" The beetle yelled pointing his sonic blaster and hitting Tori square in the stomach. The force was so great she was flung backwards into a wall thus being knocked unconscious.

Bart then ran at beetle punching him in his stomach. The beetle remained still giving the young boy a glare and backhanding him into the same wall as his sister. Bulldozer took this opportunity to throw beetle into a room. Bart unlike his sister was conscious and he wasted no time to jump back into the fight. But he was too late.

The beetle fled to grab some backup but not before his hands turned into swords. He gave no mercy and stabbed B right through the gut." NOOOOOO!!!!!" Bart screamed. Beetle left and Bart ran up to B catching him as he fell." I'm here B. Your safe now, stay awake come on stay with me!" Bart pleaded for his friend to stay strong and stay awake but after a minute of begging. Bulldozer's heart went silent, and he stopped breathing." Bulldozer offline" Bart said hugging his dear friend tight, afraid to let go. A hand was placed on his shoulder, he looked up to see his sister tears streaming down her face like a river. They sat there silently for a moment. But they knew they had to leave, beetle would be back any second with soldiers. They reluctantly got up grasped one another's hand and sped off to find an exit.
