Bart woke up just to see Tori get grabbed. He jumped up and punched the man in the jaw. The man stumbled back and dropped Tori who fell limp to the cold ground. "Tori! Wake up." Bart said as the man got up and charged at Bart like a bull. Bart wasn't paying attention so the man hit him and Bart fell to the ground, gasping for air. The huge figure kicked Bart in the stomach repeatedly until Bart was bleeding. Bart forced himself up onto his feet, just as the man was about to punch him. Bart waited for impact, but it never came. Bart opened his bloodshot eyes to see Tori standing over the man, her knuckles bleeding from the impact. "That. Hurt." She said limping over to me. That's when Tori noticed something on Bart's wrist. "Bart! Your com watch!" She looked at her own wrist" My com watch!" Tori jumped up and down. And Bart smiled a toothy smile.
"Impulse to cave! Can you read me?" Bart said waiting anxiously for an answer. "This is Nightwing. Impulse where are you? Is your team with you? What happened!?" Nightwing asked through the com. "Tori is here with me but...we lost Bulldozer. We don't know where we are, we got sucked back to our own time. Wait! Tori and I traveled through time, trying to get back to the cave. The question isn't where are we. It's when." Bart said just as an explosion a couple feet away incidents off there feet. The duo hissed at the searing pain but got up and ran.
"We need to hide" Tori whisper yelled to her brother who was running beside her. They found a huge mountain and hid in a cave on the far side of it. Tori checked her com watch, it said they were at mount justice. In 2018. The year the war for Earth started. It was between the Reach and The Justice League. This battle waged for years before the last leaguer fell. "We didn't go back far enough" Bart heard something falling...Bomb!!!"RUN ITS A BOMB!!!" Bart yelled and he and Tori took off. Once again, they didn't slow down. They went faster and faster and once more, they heard their team's voices.
They were getting dizzy again, the duo was fighting to stay awake. They were screaming from all the pain, the world started spinning faster and faster. Everything stoped spinning, and they fell.
