Tori and Bart were hiding in a room as Reach solders walked past. The twins sped out of the room and reached the last door at the hall. This was it. Bart slowly opened the door. It lead to the outside! But there was a problem, Blue Beetle was waiting for them. Reach solders were lined up outside, sonic blasters were ready to fire. Ready to run? Tori asked her brother through their bond. Let's do this! Bart replied. They took a few steps back, not of fear, but to get a running start! 1..2..3..GO! Bart yelled grabbing his sister's hand. Together they sped right between the Reach solders! They didn't stop, they went faster and faster. They were going to use their speed to travel through time. They started to hear their friends voices they went faster. The duo got dizzy and passed out. They stoped traveling through time.

"Ugh.." Bart groaned as he sat up. He felt like throwing up. He remembered that he and his sister were trying to travel back to the past. He looked around for Tori, but she was no where to be seen. Tori? Where are you? Hello!? Bart screamed as something sharp and painful hit his leg. He scanned his leg as he fell to the hard ground. There was a bullet in his left leg. Bart clutched his leg as someone put a bag over his head. He passed out.

Tori woke up on the ground with a sharp pain in her leg. She looked around and gasped, they weren't in Happy Harbor anymore. She pushed through the pain and stood up. Tori looked down at herself. She was a mess, her clothes were stained with blood and she really needed a shower. Her clothes were ripped and torn, and her hair was tangled. She looked around once more and saw someone carrying a boy on their shoulder...Bart! She sped over as fast as she could and knocked the man over. Grabbing her brother she ran away, not sure where to go, she stoped to take a breather. Bart woke up. Just in time. Tori thought. Then she felt a hand over her mouth, she went unconscious just as Bart got up. Then... blackness.
