the earth stopped for a moment. i swear, it did.

my breath sucked in, and my lungs felt blue. my eyes widened as big as a full moon, while i stared at my desk in pure shock. i felt a hurricane of thoughts behind my head, and a soft cool wind below my chin. the desk turned cold, and my voice was a distant memory.

i went cold, and heard the humming.
