Val's POV

Cal: Morning

Val: Cal!

Cal: What?

Val: You should be asleep!

Cal: but you aren't :(

Val: yeah stupid, that's because its 10am in Cali

Cal: oh right..

Cal: I hate time zones

Val: go to sleep Cal

Cal: I don't wanna :(

Val: we can talk when you wake up

Cal: but then you'll be asleep!

Val: insomniac remember?

Cal: oh yeah

Cal: well hoodnight then I guess or hoodmorning for you.

Val: Hoodnight Cal x

Cal: zzzzz

Laughing I turn my phone off and stand up off the couch and walk into the kitchen I open the fridge and grab out the jug of iced tea, I pour myself a glass then walk back and sit down on the couch as I continue to scroll through Netflix.

Today is Sunday, and my last day of break before I go back to school for a week, then on Thursday I fly to Australia! I still need to pack..

So since today is my last day off before a week of school I've decided to sit around and watch Netflix all day. I click on the movies and look through a couple before selecting red dog and getting comfy on the couch since I knew I wouldn't be moving for at least a couple hours.

Later that night at about 12:00am I'm laying in bed listening to the heavenly voices of 5sos while admiring my collection of 5sos posters on the wall adjacent from my bed while waiting for Cal to text me. Just as I'm about to get out of bed to get a snack from the kitchen I feel my phone vibrate in my lap and as I look down at the screen I see its a message from Cal.

Cal: Hey Val, I'm assuming you're awake?

Val: I am

Val: hey

Cal: what are you doing?

Val: I'm in my kitchen getting food, hey I have a question?

Cal: yes?

Val: do you by any chances have any hot Australian friends?

Cal: uhhhhhh?

Val: my best friend said that when I come home from Australia I need to bring her a hot Australian

Cal: oh well I'd probably prefer it if my friends stay in Australia if you don't mind aha

Val: fair enough aha

Cal: yeah aha so what'd you get from the kitchen?

Val: food

Cal: I figured

Val: then why'd you ask?

Cal: I cant wait for you to come to Australia

Val: I cant wait either :-)

Cal: ughhh

Val: whattt?
