My Famous Pen Pal [C.T.H]

As promised about 10 minutes later we arrive at the sunny Australian beach. We get all our stuff out the car and make our way down towards the sand laughing and joking as we walked.
We put our towels down on the sand and take our clothes off so we're just in our bathers, we all take turns assisting each other putting sunscreen on then lay down on our towels.
I'm laying down when I hear a camera noise and sit up looking towards the boys and see Calum looking sheepish.

'I thought my phone was on silent' Calum tells me as the boys all laugh at him I ask to see the photo and smile when I see it. I've never been a very confident person but I've learnt to apprieate my body more and more in the last six months.

Laughing I lay back down propped up on my elbow with my head thrown back smiling I tell Cal to take another photo. Calum laughs taking another photo of me (a/n it's the photo on the top of the last chapter) I smile again when I see it and tell him to send it to me.

'Stop flirting before I throw up' Luke groans rolling over on his towel so he's facing.

'Shut up they're cute and you and Arzaylea are way worse' Ashton says laughing and slapping Luke on the shoulder.

'Wait sorry fan-girl moment, are you and Arzaylea a real thing Luke?' I ask him beyond curious.

'Yes despite what many think we are indeed very real and have been for a while now' Luke says smiling at me.

(a/n I'm sorry if this offends anyone but I don't really like Arzaylea and I'm not fully convinced that 'Larzaylea' is real but I wanted to just add that part in okay a/n number 2 they've broken up now ahahahah I really hope Luke is okay though)




After laying on our towels for about an hour we all walk up the beach to hire surfboards.

We all get our boards and wetsuits and after about 10 minutes of arguing the boys pay for all of it before we head back down to the beach.

Once we're back at our stuff we all place our boards on the hot sand.
'I want Val to teach me' Cal says and we all turn and look at him.

'Why just me?' I ask laughing as the boys look at him with the same expression of curiosity.

'Because the guys are mean and you're not' he says and we all laugh at him but I agree to teach Cal anyway.

Luke and Ashton begin showing a very unwilling Michael what he has to do once out in the water.

'Okay so first lay down on your board' I tell Calum and he looks confused.

'But we're not even in the water?' he asks

'I know you have to learn what to do first then we go in the water' I tell him and he does what I say laying down on his board as I lay down on mine and start telling him what to do.

10 minutes later Ashton and Luke say Michael is ready to go in the water.
'Cool I think Cal is ready to have a go as well' I say as Calum fist pumps.

We all make our way out to the water and once we're deep enough in we lay down and start to paddle out deeper.

The waves get closer and we turn around and begin paddling faster and then I get to my feet before standing.
I surf the wave for about a minute before I'm back in shallow water and jump off the board I turn around and raise my arm to shield the sun from my eyes.

I look out to the water and see Calum's board but no Calum I stand and wait for him to come above water but 10 seconds later and I still can't see him.
