Astrea went to her room as soon as she’s done in the kitchen and waited for Narcissus to finish showering. She sat down at her study table and stared at her laptop absent-mindedly. Something that Narcissus had said earlier bothers her.

“What if your visions were real?” those exact words keep echoing in her mind. She tried to dismiss it as something completely silly, but those words, and those ‘dreams’ that she had keep occupying her mind. She couldn’t get it off her mind or stop thinking about it no matter how hard she tried.

Her hands went on autopilot mode. She switched on the power of her laptop and waited for it to be booted up. When the operating system finally appeared on the LCD screen of her laptop, her fingers went on frenzy mode as she launched the Internet browser to browse for information. She could be seen googling for ‘Unicorn’, ‘Pegasus’, ‘Dreams’,'Evil beings’ and even information for ‘trance and hypnotism’. She was so absorbed in taking in the information that’s served before her that she did not realize that Narcissus is done showering and is peeping on what she’s reading over her shoulder. He’s not sure how he felt when he saw what she’s doing. He was overwhelmed with mixed feelings. He realized that she must have felt something, since she searched for those things. What wouldn’t he give to get into her head and see what she’s thinking at the moment?

“Hey there, darling” he whispered as he kissed her bare shoulder. She let out a tiny gasps as she felt his lips on her skin. She shivered slightly before turning around to look at him.

“Hey yourself. You’re done showering?” she asked, flushed at the view before her. He’s only wearing her white towel around his waist, and look dangerously loose and close to falling. He must have raided her wardrobe when she was in the kitchen. She’s quite distracted with his lack of modesty, but said nothing. The man who stood before her will soon be her husband, she should try to at least get used to such beautiful scenery.

“Yeah, what are you doing, my dear?” he asked, pretending not to know what she was looking for online.

“Nothing,” she said, and shut down her laptop almost instantly.

“I hope you’re not looking for inappropriate things while you’re surfing, darling. Certain things could do damage to your mind,” he chuckled.

“I did not search for porn!” she almost growled as she stood up.

“I did not say that,” he laughed, causing her to roll her eyes heavenward.

“But you were implying so…” she accused. He simply shrug and sit on her chair before pulling her to sit on his lap. Her heart beat twice as faster as she felt his skin on hers.

“I’m not sure if I can survive tonight.” he told her while his eyes eyed her entire bedroom. It’s too small for his taste. The bed annoyed him. It’s going to be quite tricky to sleep on such a small bed with her.

“Are you feeling ill?” she asked, concerned for his well being.

“I’m tired, not ill, darling. I’m just concern about the sleeping arrangement.” he said, gesturing to the small bed that could barely accommodate two people on it.

“I’ll sleep in the living room, since I suggest that we stay for the night,” she said sheepishly. She haven’t give a thought about bedding arrangement. He’s right, the bed is too small for both of them.

“Oh, no you don’t, you’ll make me feel very rotten if I allow you to sleep in the living room, in your own place, no less. It’s not the space that I’m actually worrying, darling. You’re welcome to sleep on me anytime, I’ll be pleased to accommodate,” he chuckled as he stood up and carry her over to the bed. She cling to him shyly.
