Chapter 3 (Back to reality)

(Tabitha's POV)

I walked with Jessica through the portal and in an instant all my memories, thoughts, dreams and hopes were mixed up in a soft light.

Jessica, Ren, and Tora were gone, leaving me in this sea of memory, each wave made me feel calm as if I was lost within it, drowning in this calming feeling.

Suddenly a voice from nowhere entered the sea,

"Taby...Taby.......Taby........" the voice grew louder and louder until,

CLAP!!! a loud clap came from the sky crumbling the sea until I could see what just happened.

I woke from my trance only to see my younger sister Elise in front of me not looking that happy.

"Taby you got your head in the clouds again, whats so amazing that you have to take a long time spacing out" Elise said with her high pitched voice.

"The past" I chuckled  while I scratched the back of her head.

Elise grinned as she patted my back,

"Stop thinking about that past of yours and keep your head in the present, your 16  years old now"

"I know, I know, but you ain't gonna give me that lecture Ms. Jessica gives us" I joked since I know that we hated that lecture. Elise laughed and said,

"Between you and me I don't like that "act your own age " lecture at all, but still we need to find Rex"

"Yeah, speaking of Rex where did that brother of ours go anyway?" I replied while we continued our search, but it didn't take us too long when we heard a familiar shout coming from the corridor,

"Taby!!, Elise!! I found him!!" the we  turned around to see our older brother Baron dragging along (you guessed it) our brother Rex.
Rex kept on struggling, shouting,

"Baron let go of me, now!!"

"Sorry bro, cant do that" Baron smirked while dragging him in the our direction.

"But I don't want to go to school"Rex whined.

"Come on Rex, your 15 years old.." before Elise could finish her sentence,

"Nooo!, not the "act your own age" lecture again" Rex whined again. The two of them were about to have another sibling war, until I broke the silence.

"OK, you two stop fighting so we can go to Ms. Jes, you know how mad she'll get if we got late for the first day" and at that they stopped.

We grabbed our bags and headed for the portal room, only to see Ms. Jessica with her arms folded,

"How long do you think you can make school wait?" She said.

"Sorry Ms. Merli, we had a few games of hide and go seek" Elise said glaring at Rex who unsurprisingly showed no sign of care. Jessica sighed,

"At least your dressed properly" she said while mentally evaluating each of our clothes.

"Well it's time to set you guys off to school, remember the Root dimension is not controlled by any clan, so keep your eyes pealed for any Moon clan members" Jessica reminded us.

"We will!" We shouted as we went in the portal.

(Liam's POV)

The breeze of a new day covered the campus, as I was ready to start a new year as if fresh out of the box.

I felt at peace, like a landing butterfly as I saw many girls and boys enter the doors.

I sighed as I was about to step in the building but stopped to turn around when I heard familiar greetings,

"Morning Liam" a girl's voice alerted me.

(I know that voice anywhere) I thought then greeted,

"Hey you four"

"Long time no see, my friend" Tabitha said as she shook my hand.

"So whose betting that we'll be in the same class as you, again" Rex joked.

"I don't believe we'll be in the same class, four times in a row" I said.

"Maybe so, but  faith will decide if we'll be in the same class...but I bet we will"Elise said, playing in Rex's game.

"Impossible!"I said with all my confidence.

"Anyway we gotta go, see ya nonbeliever" Rex said as the four entered the school. I sighed as I walked inside, and when I opened my classroom door I saw the four staring at me,

"Nice to see you again Sir Zephyr" Baron said as he waved his hand from his seat. Rex kept laughing at my shocked face until class began.

When class began the teacher was calling students upfront for introductions,

"Liam Zephyr, will you share some info about yourself" the teacher asked, I stood in front of the class to give my intro,

"My name is Liam Zephyr, I am 16 years old"

"My hobbies are playing sports and I am an only child" and with that introduction I went back to his seat.

"OK, let me see, Tabitha, Rex, Elise and Baron since you are sibling I suggest that you gave your intros together. The four stood up and went in front, there were many murmurs from the class probably because the teacher said they were siblings yet they didn't look alike.

(Dusk412:guys I know siblings may not look alike, but they don't look alike nor act or sound or seem to have any signs of any blood relation)

"I'm Tabitha Merli, but you can call me Taby, I'm 16 years old, and my hobbies are sports"

"I'm Elise Merli, I'm 15 years old, and my hobbies are singing" 

"I'm Rex Merli, I'm also 15 years old, and my hobbies are also sports but Taby is better"

"And i'm Baron Merli, I'm 16 years old, and my hobbies are mostly reading" with that the four gave their intros but a student raised his hand and asked,

"Are you guys really siblings?" Rex responded,

"Not blood related but adopted" then a girl raised her hand and asked,

"So then who is eldest and who is youngest?"(well that was kinda random I guess?)

"Well Baron is the eldest, I'm the second eldest, Elise is the second youngest and Rex is the youngest" after that the teacher asked them to take their seats so they can go back to other introductions.

(Tabitha's POV)

The sun had fallen to let pass the moon, the little chirps of crickets surrounded the house's lights were dim as me and my got ready for bed, silently I laid on bed after a successful day of school full of laughs and reunions. Gently I closed my eyes slowly and I started to dream, but my dream was short as a soft light glowed awaking me from my slumber,

"Huh, what now?" I said annoyed as I reached for the glowing crystal on my work table. I touch the crystal,and  a voice came from it and said,

"Tabitha wake up I have to tell you something important"

"(YAWN), Tora?!,  do you know what time it is here?" I yawned, as  Tora's hologram showed from the crystal looking at my tired face,

"I'm truly sorry to disturb you in this time of night but Ms. Jessica told me to warn you about a strange energy signal coming to your coordinates"

"What!, what do you mean a strange energy signal"

"As in something not Sun clan related"
Tora explained. After the long talk ended I rested my head on the pillow thinking of the energy signal I wondered what could it be.
