Chapter 1 (A Painful Past)

It all started on a cold winters morning, the sun's reflection gleamed on the pure white snow melting it to the point that little droplets fell from the azure colored sky and within this valley of snow stood a house, a house which was hidden within the the trees and snow for it held a family whom were unknown to the outside world.

The family compiled of a mother, father, and a pair of twins one boy and one girl.

Even if this family was hidden from the world outside, they lived happily dancing, singing, even if the twins made fun of each other this family was never apart.

But one unfortunate day their ray of happiness halted and froze into fear, it was the day that a certain little girl lost everything dear to her.

(Tabitha's POV)
"Taby, Mike we need to go" father called from downstairs, me and my twin brother rushed downstairs in hearing his call but we did not hesitate to show are confusion as to why we needed to go so urgently.

"What? Why?" Me and my brother asked in unison.

"There is no time to explain, now you two get in the car" mother said with a worried yet frightened tone mixed in her voice.

Me and my brother did as our mother said and went in the car but even if we couldn't see what was wrong we both knew something was not right.

When the whole family got in the father drove as fast as he can, me and my brother sat quietly in the car but as we advanced I could see tree branches scratching the car like grabbing hands, and snow bumps paused the car in its tracks as if it was doing it on purpose.

The snow mixed with howling wind from outside made it hard to hear but our mother was able to send a message to us.

"Taby, Mike do you recall the pendants I gave you two?" mother asked us in a shrill voice.

"Yes mother" I said as I gripped my sun pendant.

"Why do you ask mother?" My brother said doing the same as me, but with his moon pendant.

"You have to keep them safe at all cause, because these pendants are the keys to the.." before mother could finish her sentence,

CRASH!!!

Something smashed into the car causing it to spin out of control.

It kept spinning and spinning, everything was spinning until I felt......

NOTHING

I couldn't feel the car, the ground or my family's warm touch the only thing I can feel is nothing and even if I tried to get a hold of something it was just air.

Then.....

(BLANK).. All I could see was darkness as I fell out of the car, I tried to call for help but I couldn't. The last thing I could hear were people calling my name "Taby! Taby!.. Tabitha!!!"

Somewhere on the snow covered ground I woke up after blacking out from the fall.

"Uh..uhh..mnn" I groaned as I wiped my face from the snow. I stood up and looked and looked around but nothing looks familiar at all and at that time I knew what was happening.

I was lost

"Where am I?" I asked myself even if I didn't have a clue, but that was not the worst part.

I tried and tried to remember the details, but my memory was blocked by the shock of the fall.

All I could remembered was the promise I made, to keep my pendant safe and my name, other than that my mind was a blank.
