The Plan

Plot: Right after their panel at Pax Prime, Ken , Jack, Mark, and Pewds decide to head back to the hotel for a friendly game night. But what Mark and Jack don't know is that Ken and Felix have a little plan up their sleeves. When things are said, secrets are revealed, and intentions turn, Two mens lives will quickly change for the better.

Marks POV

The audience cheered as the four of us walked off the stage. These panels are my favorite! Getting to interact with the fans and getting to spend time with Jack! And everyone else of course, but mostly Jack. I would give anything for him to like me back, But he is straight as a pole. Everyone thinks I am too, but i'm not. I'm Pan. Nobody knows except my big brother, and he swore to me he would never tell anyone. But that's besides the point. The point is, i'm in love, with a man who will never, ever want me back. I quickly shook away my thoughts as Felix approached me now changed out of his frilly red dress into a t-shirt and jeans. "Hey, Ken suggested we all go back to the hotel for a game night after the meet & greet!" He said fixing his hair a bit. "Yeah sure, sounds fun." I replied with a soft smile. Felix just gave me a quick nod and began to walk away. "Hey Mark." He said turning around again. "Yeah." I said back. "You know Ken and I got your back right?" "Yeah, of course." I replied curious and worried as to why he would be asking this question. "Good." He said smirking at me as he turned and walked away. 

       After the meet and greet we all stuck to the plan and we headed back to the hotel for a game night. We Walked into Felix and Ken's room and picked a few games. We spent sometime playing Super Mario Maker and Happy Wheels. Then a bit of Five Nights at Freddy's. "Ok I'm done with video games for now. Let's play something else. How about truth or dare?" Ken said putting his controller down and rubbing his eyes. We all agreed and started the game. I didn't know what I was in for. "Felix truth or dare." Jack began. "Dare." Felix replied bluntly. "I dare you to run out into the hallway and scream the song "I'm sexy and I know it until someone comes out and complains." I laughed at the stupid dare, and also became very excited to see what happened. "Deal." Felix said standing and swinging open the door stepping out dramatically. "I'M SEXY AND I KNOW IT!" He screamed. Not even 30 seconds later a man in a robe, looking sweaty and irritated, poked his head out of a room and yelled at Felix to shut up. We all knew what was going on in that room and broke out laughing. "That was perfect." I said sitting back up. "Ok, Ken truth or dare!" Felix said looking at Ken. "Truth." He said wiggling his eyebrows. "Can you moonwalk?" Felix said smirking. "No." Ken replied. "Ok, Mark truth or dare?!" Ken asked me enthusiastically. "Ummm, truth." I said, a bit scared as to what they would make me do if I were to chose otherwise. "Are you straight?" Ken asked scooting a bit closer to me. Oh god. I guess now is as good a time as any to tell them. I mean their my best friends and l trust them. "Uh...Umm.......N....no......I'm not." I replied stuttering, what will Jack say?! Will he hate me and think I'm gross for not being straight! "I knew it! What are you?" Felix said. Everyone was fully focused on me, I looked at everyone's faces, including Jacks, whose eyes were wide and sparkling like the beautiful ocean blue waves they were. "P....pan." I said looking down. "Oh man guys! Please don't hate me! I'd understand if you did though. Ah I just fucked everything up didn't I, shit I." I was in the middle of my little meltdown when I heard 2 words escape the mouth of the man I loved so dearly that made every inch of me tense. "I'm bi." He said quickly looking down.

        I looked up at him, shocked and overjoyed at the same time. Ken and Felix were smiling at each other, eyes wide open. "Perfect." Felix muttered loud enough for me to hear but Jack didn't seem to notice. "What?" I said glancing up at him. "Nothing. We're just really happy for you guys, and this doesn't change the way we look at you. You're still our best friends" Ken said elbowing Felix in the arm and smiling warmly at both Jack and I. "Thank you guys." Jack said giving me a warm smile. "So, Mark, do you like anyone?" Felix said, putting his head in his hands as if he were a 5 year old boy watching his favorite show. "Yeah.....um....I do, but I don't think he would ever like me back. I'm pretty sure he sees me more as a brother, even though i'm crazy in love with him. His eyes are just...wow. and his smile is just so......perfect. He's perfect." I replied looking down, blushing intensely. "What about you Jack?" Ken said now in the same position as Felix. "Yeah....I do but I know that their already interested in someone else." The room was dead quiet now. "Who is it?" Ken said breaking the silence, staring me directly in the face. "Uhhh, I.....I would rather not say." I said, hoping to get them off my back. "Is that because there in this room?" Felix jumped in. "I........Ummmmm.....what." I was at a loss for words. What were they trying to accomplish here? "Ken, I believe our hypothesis was correct, we'll be right back. We need to go....get some.........uhhhh.......sex things? K bye!" And before either Jack or I could respond they were out the door. Jack and I sat there in awkward silence for who knows how long. "So, ummm, you're really in love with this person huh?" Jack said twiddling his thumbs as he looked down at the carpet. "Y...yeah. I am." I replied, a dark shade of crimson spreading across my cheeks. "Have you told them?" he asked looking down again. "I just did." His head shot up, you could see his eyes glossed over creating a beautiful shine that just illuminated his eyes, I swear I could stare at them for hours. "Mark....I" Oh man I just ruined everything. "Im sorry Jack I should have just kept my mouth shut! I understand if you hate me now I just.." 

         I was cut off when a pair of soft lips crashed into mine. Soon after the realization hit I closed my eyes and melted into the kiss. My hand held the back of his neck as his held the side of my face gently. Slowly we both pulled away, our foreheads resting together as we gasped for air. "I love you too Mark, I always have. I was just so scared to tell you and I just thought I wasn't good enough and...." Jack stammered, his hand still resting softly on my cheek. I lightly lifted his chin with my hand staring deeply into those beautiful eyes. "You're everything i've ever wanted, you are absolutely perfect." Slowly our lips met again perfectly moving in sync. I knew now that this is what love was, real love! I smiled into the kiss, deepening it as I moved my body closer to his. Everything about this moment was perfect until Felix opened the door. "Hey guys we're back-Jävla helvete!" Felix said quickly shutting the door. Jack and I turned to each other smiling and chuckling. I could hear Ken and Felix outside arguing. "Felix you fucking idiot!" "I'm sorry I didn't know they would be making out when we got back!" "Just calm down and let's go back inside." The door opened once again to a now smiling Ken and Felix. "Heyyyyy guys!! So, what'd we miss." Felix said shutting the door behind him. "You guys set this up didn't you." Jack said smirking at the two men. "Maybe.....Hey you two were to oblivious and scared to admit your feelings for each other, so we just gave you guys a little......push." Ken said defensively. "Thank you guys." I said looking up from Jack at the two sneaky idiots standing before me. "Sooooooo." Felix said gesturing to Jack and I. We looked at each other and slowly grabbed each others hands. "Jack." "yes Mark." Jack replied looking into my eyes. "Will you do me the honor, of letting me take you on a date, tomorrow night?" I said grabbing his other hand. "I would love to Mark." An even bigger smile spread across my face as Jack pulled me into a tight embrace. When we separated we looked up at Felix and Ken smiling at one another. "Well done my fluffy faced friend." Felix said shaking Ken's hand. "Why thank you my stupid skinny Swedish shit head." Ken replied. We all looked at one another with soft smiles. This is it, this is the night the rest of my life begins, and I am so glad.
