Everybody is born with a soul mate. We know their name, and nothing else. the rest is up to us. When I was born, I knew my soulmate's name would be Sean, And I hoped someday I would find him. My name is Mark Fischbach and this is the story of how I found my soulmate.

It was a gloomy day in fall, the leaves painted red and yellow as the rain poured down like a river of tears. I was driving home from a long day of hormones, cocaine and assholes, also known as high school. The rain was pouring down hard inhibiting my ability to see well as my car trudged through. As I pulled onto my street, something out of my window grabbed my attention for a quick moment, and then suddenly their was a loud thud. I quickly slammed on my breaks and jumped out of the car, running to the front only to see that I had hit a person. "Oh my god! I am so sorry! Are you alright!" I said bending down to help the man up. "Yeah....yeah I'm fine!" He grunted standing up. I knew this boy, his name was Jack, he was the foreign exchange student that came to my school the year before me, He was cute, and funny. He always made jokes in classes and around the halls. I knew he was a gamer like me as well."Sorry for, ummm, hitting your car with my body." He chuckled in his Irish accent. "No no, oh my god I'm so sorry I hit you! You came out of nowhere!" I said dusting off his shoulder. "Yeah, my dog gizmo got out and went running across the street and I guess I wasn't watching where I was going." I turned my head to see a little dog running to Jack. "He's cute." I said petting him on the head. Jack bent over to pick up the dog but immediately shot back up in pain. "Are you ok?!" I asked helping him stand up strait. "Y...yeah, I probably just tweaked my back, i'll be sore for a few days it's fine." He grunted standing up strait. "Ok, I'm really sorry! I feel terrible is there anything I can do?" He just shook his head and smiled. I returned the smile and looked down slightly noticing his arm was bleeding. "Your arm is bleeding!" I said quickly but cautiously grabbing his arm and pulling up the sleeve. "Oh....it's fine i'll clean it when I get home." He replied. "No no! I have stuff in my car lemme get it." I quickly turned and ran to my trunk grabbing my first aid kit. I came back around and motioned for him to sit on the sidewalk. He did so and I pulled up his sleeve. He winced slightly but let me continue. He had a large, deep gash that a bandage definitely wouldn't hold closed. "Oh man this needs stitches, we need to go to the hospital." I said helping him up. "What! Oh no no i'm sure it's fine! Just a bandaid will work i'm sure." I just shook my head getting into the driver's seat of the car. He slowly got into the passenger's side and we quickly drove to the E.R.

We walked in and filled out the paperwork for him. We sat in silence for a bit as we waited for the nurses to call him in. "Sean McLoughlin." The nurse yelled. Jack stood up beginning to walk towards her. "What are you doing?" he turned around and looked at me confused. "I'm getting stitches in my arm, she called my name." He said smiling. "I didn't hear the name Jack called?" I replied still confused. Jack just chuckled at me and smiled. "Oh no no, dude my real name is Sean, Jack is just a nickname." He said. My face became covered with shock. He turned and walked into the room with the woman to get his arm stitched. I sat down on the chair and began to process this. I shouldn't get in my own head it's probably not even him! He's probably not even attracted to guys...........but........what if he is. What is he is the person i've been searching for my whole life. I sat in that chair for who knows how long, It could have been 10 minutes or it could have been hours. I just kind zoned out. Suddenly a door opened and a green haired Irish boy walked out of the room thanking a nurse. He walked over to me his arm now wrapped. "Ok lets go! I am now officially a pillow!" He proclaimed as he headed to my car. I walked behind him getting into my drivers seat and starting the car. As we drove I couldn't hold it in anymore and I just spoke. "So you know how when we are born we know our soulmates name." I said. It certainly grabbed his attention as he looked at me confused but now definitely invested in the conversation. "Y...yeah, what about it." He replied looking to me. "Well.....ummm......my soulmate's name..........is Sean." I stuttered out glancing to him. His eyes widened and he looked away from me. I knew it he couldn't be the right one, maybe he has already found his soulmate. I sighed, tears slightly forming in my eyes. "M....Mark?" He shakily stuttered out. I immediately slammed on the breaks jolting us both forward slightly. I looked at him shocked, him staring at me the same. "H...hi. My name's Sean.........and I think I finally found him." He said extending a hand. "Hi....Im Mark.......And I think I found him too." I said extending my hand and holding his. We widely smiled at each other, We had finally found our soulmate.

A MONTH LATER

Jack and I were going on our 5th date tonight. I had everything planned, it was going to be perfect. I told him to dress casual and warm. At 7:00pm we both exited our houses and met at my car. He only lived a few houses down from me. "Hello Markimoo." He proclaimed as he entered the passenger's side of my car. "Hello Jackaboy, excited?" I asked pulling out of the driveway. "Very, a bit curious since you didn't tell me where we were going." I just gave him a slight smirk and continued driving. I pulled up to the lake at the park and got out of my car, grabbing a picnic basket and a blanket from the trunk. "Mark this is so nice." Jack exclaimed grabbing ahold of my hand as we walked closer to the lake. I set down the blanket and set up our food. We sat and talked for hours laughing and enjoying each others company. Before we knew it it was 10:00 at night and time to head home. "I had a really good time tonight Mark thank you." Jack spoke as we headed back to the car. This moment was perfect. The stars sparkled brightly as the lake was softly lit by the illuminating features of the moon. He was about the open the car but I turned him around, leaning him against the car door. We stared into each others moon lit eyes before both slowly leaning in. Our lips finally came together molding perfectly together before moving in perfect sync. It was amazing. I found my soulmate, and he was all I could ever ask for.
