Lucy POV
As the dragons disappeared tears were shed all around. I wasn't paying attention to them though, I watched Natsu scream as Igneel disappeared. He fell to the ground, tears a stead stream down his face. Erza motioned me to go to him "He needs you Lucy, more then anyone" Nodding I walked towards Natsu. As I got closer I could see the pain in his eyes, I touched his shoulder lightly to only pull it away a second later he was burning.
"Natsu" I called gently, he didn't respond "Natsu, come on" I tried reaching for him once more. Just as I tapped his shoulder once more my hand was slapped away.
"Go away" Natsu's voice came out hoarse and broken
"W-What Natsu?! Please don't be like this" I didn't want him to shut down on me. All I wanted to do was help him, I walked to his face and crouched down trying to catch his gaze. I cupped his face between my hands before he could pull away "Natsu please, I want to help"
Malice was evident in his eyes, Natsu stood up abruptly pushing me away "I don't want your help Luce" His voice was cold and unforgiving, he drew a line of fire between me and him pointing towards our guild mates "That is where you belong" and then pointing in the opposite direction towards the forest "That is where I belong" He turned and then started to walk away.
I tried to cross the flames but the heat was unbearable "NATSU!" I screamed, tears welled in my eyes as he walked away. Happy tried to fly after him but the flames grew higher creating a wall between us and him, Happy fell to the ground crying "NATSU!!" he yowled.
Everyone stood at the flame wall and watched as the dragon slayer retreated further into the forest. When Natsu fully disappeared so did the flames. Erza stood still with tears in her eyes "Come on we should be going home now" her voice wavering slightly as she slowly turned to leave, everyone else reluctantly followed. But I stayed I couldn't take my eyes off of the spot where he disappeared.
"You better come back Natsu" my voice cracked with the sobs of losing him "I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU NATSU DRAGNEEL!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Still sobbing I stood up and walked away knowing nothing will ever be the same again.
'I'll never forgive you Natsu'
