I start walking faster to her, worried.

When I catch up I can see her face clearly. She has tears streaming down her face, staining her cheeks.
I start to look down, but then my eye catches something on her arm. A bruise. It's purple and red. It's the size of my palm.
"Uhm.. uhh.. I- I'm sorry," I look up into her eyes, "H-here," I take off my jacket and put it around her. She looks into my eyes.

I make eye contact with him. I realize that my music is playing from my headphones. Loud enough for the stranger and I to hear it.

////Hours Go By

We're at his house. He asks a question.
"Why were you out there?"
I grab a piece of paper and write,
"my family didn't care. I have schizophrenia and I talk to people that aren't real. I have another side of me that I can't control. they're after me."
I hand the paper to him. He moves his chair and sits next to me.
"That one song, Trees. That is a song that means a lot to me. The song I wrote. You probably know who I am."

I shake my head yes.
  "What's you're name?" Tyler asks.
        "A-Alaska."
Tyler smiles at me and looks at the time.
     1:52 A.M
"Follow me, please. You can stay here for the night. How old are you?"

   "Twenty-one," (just because I can)

-Tylers POV-

I wake up. I look over at Alaska and I see that she's awake. Its 2:37 and she's staring at the ceiling.
"Their talking to me," she whispered, "They won't go away.."

  "Who won't go away?"
She started crying. I hugged and her and sang her a song. Eventually she was asleep.
