Chapter One:
School and Bad Parents

I get up at five, and go downstairs in the basement.

I put a CD in and immediately start to dance.

I call this my work-out. I do this every morning.

I wake up early, dance, then jump in the shower at six to wash off the dirt and grime. Then get dressed, eat, and leave for my own personal hell hole, also known as: school.

Gladly, we only have two weeks of school left.

When I finish, I keep dancing to different songs til it's six, then leave.

I jump in the shower, then get out twenty minutes later.

I get dressed in a pair of gray skinny jeans, a white tank top, and throw a loose gray cashmere sweater over me.

I pull my curly red hair, that went just above my butt, into a bun.

I hurriedly put my black glasses on. You'd think they were real, and just fake and for show, but no, they're not.

They're definitely real.

I slip my red sock covered feet into gray vans, tossing my bag strap over my shoulder.

I run down the stairs of the house. My footsteps echoes through the empty house.

I'm guessing you want to know why it's so empty.

Well, one, no one really lives here.

My Mom and Dad are here while I'm at school, and they leave an hour before I arrive home, then come back at the time I go to bed.

They're both gone during the weekends, so I don't see them much.

They trust me, they always have.

My name is Elizabeth, but I prefer Eliza, or Beth.

I don't have friends, so I don't have anyone else to give me nicknames.

I have long, curly red hair, that went just above my but, but if I straightened it, it'd come below my .

I step into the kitchen, grab an apple, and eat it within three minutes.

I walk outside, hopping in my old black Dodge Challenger.

Though it isn't that old. Only six years.

Both of my parents are lawyers, and have lots of money, so they bought me a car for my sixteenth birthday.

I slip the key into the ignition and start it.

I pull out, and pull up to the gas station.

I get out, greeted Kim and bought a coffee, and pay for gas.

I put the gas in my car, sipping on my coffee, leaning against my car.

When I'm done, I'm nearly late.

I have to get gas though, if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to make it home after school.

I jump in the car, and quickly drive to school.
