Chapter Seven:

Flashbacks and Songs

*Flashback*

"Higher!" I screamed, giggling.

Aaron gave me another push, making me giggle as I was afraid I'd fall.

"Stop! Stop! I'm gonna fall!" I shrieked, grasping the metal chains.

"If you fall, Liz, you'll end up safely in my arms." Aaron said, smiling at me.

I smiled, and nodded.

"I want to go home." I said.

"Alright, coming on baby girl." he smiled, picking me up and hiking me onto his waist.

I smiled, tucking my head in the crook of his neck and closing my eyes.

"I love you big brother." I whispered.

He smiled softly at me and kissed my forehead.

"I love you too, sis." he said, I tucked my head back in the crook of his neck and fell asleep.

*End of Flashback*

Tears poured out of my eyes, I started to cry softly.

My chest constricted.

I'm feeling the same thing that I felt when I tried to kill myself...

Stop.

Stop.

Stop.

"STOP!" I screamed, pulling my hair, falling off the swing as I felt it start to pour.

"Eliza!" I heard a scream.

"Go!" I screamed, tucking my knees in my chest, and crying harder.

I was picked up, and set in someone's lap.

"Elizabeth, it's alright, I'm here." a rough voice whispered.

I started to sob, grasping handfuls of his shirt.

"It's okay, Elizabeth." he whispered.

"I want to go home." I whispered.

"Are you okay?" he asked, ignoring me.

"I want to go to Aaron." I whispered.

"Aaron's dead, sweetie." he whispered.

I hit his chest repeatedly.

"No, he's not! He's alive!" I screamed, punching his chest.

"Elizabeth, quit, it's okay." he whispered, his hands wrapping securely around my wrists.

"It's not okay! I want Aaron!" I screamed, sobbing.

"He's dead-"

"NO! HE'S NOT!" I screamed, shaking.

"Yes, he is, just calm down." he whispered, stroking my hair.

"D-don't t-t-touch m-me." I stuttered, scrambling away from him.
