Detention

The last bell rang and i sighed, I walked to my locker and grabbed my bookbag and the books i would need for me to do my homework. I then started making my way to the detention room once i walked in i saw Antonio, two of the boys he was sitting with at lunch, and Trevor. Antonio looked at me and said " you know when i said you could wait for me i didn't mean in the detention room". The two boys that were sitting next to him snicked a little i looked down at my feet and said " I got detention to". I sat down at an empty desk that was about two seats in front of Antonio and 3 desk beside Trevor. Mr.Bernard walked into the classroom and said " You all have an hour to sit here and think about what you guys did to be here, there is no talking and no moving". He walked out and closed the door to the room. i sat back in my chair and pulled my headphones out and started listening to music, i laid my head down on the desk and listened to Beyonce 1+1. I got into the song and forgot that i wasn't in my room by myself and started singing.

I felt my headphones pulled out of my head and i looked up and saw Trevor standing in front of me he had a smirk on his face and he said " Okay 1.Taylor shut up because you can't sing, 2. Nobody in their right mind would even look at you let alone want to have sex with you or love you" i looked down at my hands and started biting my lip. I heard someone yell Trevor's name which made me look up, it was the blond boy that was sitting with Antonio he stood up and walked in front or Trevor and said " why are you being a dick?" Trevor looked a little scared but once he seen that i was watching the scene he quickly regained himself. he said " Why do you care Dylen?" the one with blond hair named Dylen said " because you always pick on people that you know won't say or do anything back but when one of us say something to you you run off like a little bitch"

"You know dylan i don't get it i pick on one annoying worthless bitch and you get all pissy in your pants but you guys can do whatever you want to this town!"

" Watch yourself Trevor"

"No you can sit their and k-"

Just before Trevor could finish the sentence Antonio stood up and said "Trevor, shut the fuck up". I looked at Antonio and saw his jaw was clenched and his light brown eyes were suddenly dark, i looked at Trevor and saw he was extremely frightened. Trevor said " whatever i don't need to tell the bitch she's worthless she already knows" Trevor then went back to the seat and sat down. Dylen looked down at me " are you okay ?" I kept my head down and nodded he then walked back to his seat and sit down. The rest of detention went by without anyone making a sound. Mr.Bernard came into the classroom " well time is up and you all may go home now". We all grabbed our things and exited from the classroom I put my book bag on about to walk out the school door and make my way home when I heard Antonio's voice say " Hey where are you going?" I turned around " home?"

" did you forget, we were going back to my place to start the project"

I sighed " oh yeah sorry"

"No problem, come on I'll give you a ride"

Man have walked to his car and to say that I was surprised to find out he drives an Escalade would be an understatement, I was beyond shocked. He open my door for me and I got in and said a small thank you before he closed the door. He then got into the driver side and pulled out of the school parking lot and started driving to his house. The drive was quiet until he asked me " what's your name?" I was a little disappointed considering miss James said my name when she paired us together, but then again I was not shocked nobody really remembers my name. I said " Taylor" he said " well I'm Antonio"

" yeah I know I remember miss James saying it when she paired us together"

" yeah...... To tell the truth I remember your name but I wasn't really sure how to start the conversation so"

I look to him and said " you really remember my name?"

He looked over at me with a amused glance and said " don't seem so surprised it was only a couple of hours ago"

I look down at my hands and started to play with my fingers and said " it's just that nobody really remembers my name" I could feel him looking at me again but I refuse to look up and meet his stare. It started to rain and he said " almost close to the house" I nodded my head and looked out the window as I watched as the rain droplets race down the glass. We then stopped and pulled up at this giant house. I said " you live here" he nodded and got out the car I quickly followed and we walked through the front door. I stopped in my tracks as we entered the house was beautiful and I could not help but stare. Antonio turned around and looked at me and said " are you okay?" I nodded my head and said " your house is just beautiful" he said " Thanks come on we can put our bags in my room and start the project in my office" I nodded and followed him up the stairs we came and he opened we walked into an all black with a huge bed and a giant TV in the middle of the room. He told me to put my bag on the desk next to the wall and I did. He asked if I would like my coat hanging up and I nodded and said thank you. I looked down at my wet clothes and sighed, he looked over his shoulder at me and said " is something wrong ?" I shook my head no and said " I'm just wet that's all" he said " okay just hold on a minute". He walked into what I think was a closet and came out with two pairs of sweatpants and one black v neck and one white v neck. He looked at me and said " you can pick which ones you want". I grabbed the black v neck and the pair of sweatpants and he pointed me to the bathroom I went into the bathroom and change quickly and folded up my wet clothes and walked out of the bathroom. I saw Antonio in only a pair of sweatpants and I felt a blush quickly rise to my cheeks. I said "ummm what should I do with my wet clothes?" he turned around and I could see the tattoos on his chest and his six pack he said " I'll put them in the dryer" I nodded and handed him my wet clothes and said "thank you" he said " no problem follow me" I did as I was told and followed him downstairs and we walked into what appeared to be the laundry room he threw my clothes in the dryer and then we both went back upstairs and grabbed our books that we needed to do the project. We walk back downstairs and through the living room we are staying the for boys and for girls sitting on the sofa. They all looked at me and then looked at Antonio and said " who is she?" Antonio looked at me and said " my project partner her name's Taylor" the girls quickly got up from their seats and walked over to me. The one with brown hair said "hi I'm Lyn" the one with bright blonde hair said " I'm Erica" the one with dirty blonde hair said " I'm Jay" and the one with bright red hair said " I'm Licia". They all smiled and I said and a small voice " I'm Taylor" the girls all giggled and said " oh my gosh you're so adorable" I looked down at my feet and Lyn said " oh honey there's no reason to be shy" I whispered a small sorry and just before the girls could say anything else Antonio said " girls back off" Jay said " but Antonio she's so adorable". One of the boys on the couch said " how do you even know she wants to be your friend jay" she turned around and looked at the boy with short brown hair and said " shut up max your just mad I got to her before you did" all the boys looked over at me and I blushed looking at the ground again. Dylan from earlier and distention said " that's where you're wrong Jay because I got to her before you did" he hopped up from the couch and walked over to me and put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me close to his body. Jay said " let go of her she doesn't want to be that close to someone as disgusting as you" Dylan only pulled me closer to his body and tilted my head up so that I could look at him and the eyes and said " don't listen baby girl they're just jealous of our undying love" I chuckled a little before I felt my body being pulled away from Dylan's and into another chest, I looked up an saw Antonio looking at Dylen  with hard eyes and said " none of you touch her she is not here for you she's here so we can do the project" Dylan looked at him and put his hands up and said " fine dude whatever, she's still my girlfriend" Antonio rolled his eyes and Dylan stuck his tongue out at him as everyone laughed. Antonio then pulled me down the hallway and we stopped at these big brown doors and you open them and revealed an office.
