part 17-waiting

It was happening all so fast Shannon was still down on one knee awaiting my answer.

"Yes" I said as I leaned in for a kiss.

"You had me worried for a minute there K" Shannon said as he took the ring out of the box and placed it on my finger.

"Ohhh my gosh” I said speechless.

"Don't you like it" Shannon said trying to take everything in.

“Of course yes… yes… a thousand times yes... it’s beautiful...I just can’t believe it” I said as I bent down and kissed Shannon on the lips.

“I really love you Kayla….” Shannon said as a tear rolled down his cheek.

“I love you to Shannon and I always will” I said before kissing Shannon again

After we stayed outside for a while talking about the future we headed inside as it got colder. Just as I shut the back door Shannon's phone began to ring. As Shannon ran in to the living room getting his phone I stood and couldn't believe that I was engaged to Shannon Leto. Before heading to be with my future husband.

*Shannon's pov*

“SHANNNON WHAT DID SHE SAY DID SHE YES..OHH PLEASE TELL ME SHE DID" Constance yelled down the phone. As Shannon held the phone away from his ear I ran a grabbed the phone of him

“I said yes of course… how I could say no to Shannon.” Kayla said down the phone.

"Oh my gosh I'm so happy for you's we have to go out shopping as soon as.... Could you put Shannon back on please Kayla sweetie..." Constance said as she could not express anymore happiness.

"Sure I’ll talk to you later bye Constance" She said before she handed the phone back to me.

"Hi mom........Yes I know.... yes.......yes..... I know you told me..... Does Jared no yet.....ok...ok...ok....bye love you mum" Shannon said before he hung up.

I still can’t believe she said yes... I was in a bit of a dream as I sat down on the couch all I knew was I wanted my Sweekcheeks.

*Normal POV*

As Shannon sat down he placed his phone on the arm of the chair before he opened his arms gesturing to me to come and sit beside him. As I walked over I grabbed a cover and sat in Shannon’s lap, with my head resting against his shoulder.

“Can I help you Mrs. Leto” Shannon said kissing me on the forehead.

“Nothing I just really love you….. How long have you been planning this” I asked

“Honestly.... when you thought you were pregnant and then everything that happened I was thinking in the hospital we have been together for two years and what were we both waiting on” Shannon said between kisses.

As Shannon and I were kissing a few moments later Jared burst through the door scaring the crap out of me and Shannon.

“OH MY GOD IS IT TRUE" Jared said as he ran up to us.

“Is what true?” I said as I tried to keep a straight face.

“Are you two engaged” Jared said looking between Shannon and I.

“What do you mean” I said as I flashed the ring to Jared.

“Oh My God! I can't believe it Congratulations” Jared said before he hugged the both of us.

"Thanks bro" Shannon said as he hugged his younger brother back.

"Why did you not tell me" Jared said as he took of his coat.
