*Two days before wedding*

 I was getting more nervous as the day went on, I don't know why because I've known Shannon and his family my whole life and I have been living with Shannon for 2 years but still I was panicking. I moved my suitcase to the bottom of the stairs when my mobile started ringing from the kitchen, when I got my phone I checked the callerID. It was Abby one of the bridesmaids…oh ohhh this doesn’t look good.

 “Hello” I said down the phone.

 “Ohhh hi Kayla” Abby said slightly worried

 “Hi...Ok what’s the problem…”

 “Well you see…some of the girls have got sick and they can’t make it to the wedding….there throwing up everywhere…Kayla are you still there...”

 “Yeahh…please tell me that you could still make it…are all of them sick?”

 “See that’s another thing…”

 “Abby don’t do this to me please”

 “I’m so sorry Kayla…but I’ve got to work and there’s no way out of it it’s for a major contract and I might have to fly out later today and I don’t come back until the night of the wedding there is no way to get out of it I’m really sorry honest.”

 “Ok as I can see your work is more important than my wedding...Thanks a lot some best friend you are...Bye Abby” I said before hanging up.

 Fantastic now what am I going to do I started with five bridesmaids now I have one. I was deep in thought I didn’t even notice Shannon coming in the kitchen and try to talk to me before he waved his hand in front of my face.

 “K…K…K...Kaaaylaa” Shannon said trying to get my attention

 “Uhh sorry what”

 “What’s wrong who was on the phone?”

 “Abby…the girls can’t come to the wedding there pucking and she has a ‘major business trip’….it’s pathetic what the hell I’m I going to do Shann…”

 “Look don’t worryyou’ve got Kat and my mum that’s all you really need you don’t even talk to those girls anyway anymore…and you didn’t even really want them there in the first place…I know they were your childhood friends but K they’ve moved on you don’t need them..” Shannon said before walking forward and pulling me in for a hug.

 “I know but I started with five and I’ve got one…well to if you count my maid of honor…”

 “That’s all you need I’ve only got Tomo and Jared and Antoine”

 “Wait that’s it...what about Vikki…the dresses are there and I felt bad when I asked Kat I felt I was leaving her out…do you think she will say yes…Shannon go call Tomo and Vikki and tell them to come here for something invite them to dinner or something I need to speak to Vikki”

 “What now…”

 “Yes now Shannon now go...” I said before pushing Shannon out the door.

 I hope she says yes oh please Vikki save the day like you always do. Half an Hour later Tomo, Vikki, Shannon and I all sat round the table with a cup of coffee discussing the issue.

 “So Vikk what do you say…” I said holding my breath.

 “Hum let me see…YES HELL YES…” Vikki said before running round the table to hug me.

 “Thank you, thank you, thank you” I said hugging Vikki back.

 So that was settled Kat, Vikki were my bridesmaids and Constance was my maid of honor.
