Chapter 5

Amelia woke up the next morning by Lydia bringing her breakfast which consisted of a big cup of deer blood. "Get ready Amelia, your mother and friends will be here soon my love. I've left some clothes for you in the bathroom to change into." Lydia said kissing Amelia's cheek which caused jolts of electricity throughout her body making her shudder involuntarily. Amelia saw Lydia smirk at my reaction to her kiss. She nodded and went into the bathroom to shower and change. After she got dressed she went into the sitting room where Amelia had met Lydia's parents. Her mother and best friends were sitting down talking to her mate. Once they had noticed her, Lydia came up to her and grabbed her hand leading her over to her mom and friends "Camelia your mate is so wonderful." Amelia's mother said hugging her and looking over at Lydia. Lydia smiled at her mate's mother, thanking her. Matty and Maddy came up to Amelia and hugged her "I told you your mate would be a girl!" Matty said smugly to her. She shoved him and laughed. "I just can't believe your mate is THE Princess of Vampires." Maddy said shocked looking over at Lydia and her mother whom were talking together. Lydia looked up and winked at Amelia. She smiled and turned back to her friends."I know its crazy. But I'm happy, she's beautiful and so very sweet." Amelia said smiling. Her friends looked at her and smiled with her. "I'm just glad you are happy Lia, you deserve it." Maddy said hugging her again. Lydia looked over at them with a glare. Amelia smirked knowing that she was jealous. "Well my love we have to leave, I'm sorry." Matty said pouting. Amelia smiled at him and nodded saying her goodbyes to her friends and mother.

Once they left Amelia walked over to Lydia smirking. "You were jealous of Maddy hugging me." She said teasingly nudging her. Lydia shrugged. "Well you're mine so." She said kissing my cheek. Amelia laughed and hugged her. "I know Lydia so you don't have to get jealous plus Maddy is like my sister." Amelia said giggling. Lydia nodded taking Amelia's hand and leading her to her room. "Do you want your mother to move in to the castle with you?" Lydia asked playing with Amelia's hair. Amelia looked at her, shocked at what she said."You'd actually do that for me?" She asked surprised. She gave Amelia a confused look. "Of course why wouldn't I? You're my mate I would do anything for you." Lydia said seriously staring into Amelia's eyes. "I'd love for my mother to move into the castle with me." Amelia said appreciatively. She nodded. "Alright I'll have a room arranged for her and I will have a guard to pick her up." Lydia said smiling."Thank you so much Lydia, it means so much." Amelia said hugging her. "I have arranged for you to get sized for clothing. They should be here in a few." Lydia said. I tried to protest telling her that she didn't need to do that but she just waved me off telling me that it's what mates do. The lady came into our room to take measurements of me and then leaving peacefully telling me that she will have clothes for me soon.
