Chapter 26: Seperated

Monica's P.O.V

I woke up, my head on Scott's chest, I was worried.

Monica: "The battle."

I whispered to myself quietly, I got up, went to my room to change. I noticed that Ali wasn't sleeping on my bed, so after I got out of the bathroom to change. I was wearing a shirt that said normal is boring, I put on a black skirt, and put on some black flats, I also put on a black bow and a necklace that said ZAP I checked the, time it was 12:55 almost 1:00. I started to panic we had 5 hours I know, but still what if someone gets hurt or killed. It's all gunna be because of me, the army could be bigger, stronger. I saw Ali watching tv.

Monica: "Hey Ali, I'm gunna go to Starbucks. You want to come with me or do you want me to bring it to you?"

Ali: "No I'll go with you."

She turned off the tv and got up of the couch. I made my way towards the door. I went to my car and Ali was on shotgun.

Ali: "What about the others?"

Monica: "When they wake up and notice that were gone, they will probably know where we went. They'll call us if they want something."

She nodded and I drove to Starbucks. I took out my phone and found that Scott had texted me saying to bring him something. So I called him to ask.

Monica: "Hey babe. What do you want me to get you?"

Scott: "Well since I've tried the one you always have and I really liked it, so I guess I'll have the same."

Monica: "Ok babe. I'll be home soon, love you bye."

Scott: "Ok baby. Bye love you too."

I got out the car putting my phone in my back pocket running to the door and holding it open waiting for my sister to walk through. She got out the car and be fore she walked in I said:

Monica: "After you sister."

I saw her giggle.

Ali: "Ohh, why thank you sister."

We both laughed, but then stayed serious as we were starting to order. I said a joke that made Ali and even myself laughed. I got serious quick because I smelled a vampire.

Ali: "What's wrong?"

Monica: "You don't smell it?"

She took a deep breath and was getting a little angry. I got up from the chair and followed the scent. It lead to another table with two girls sitting and staring at me. One of them had blue eyes and was wearing black skinny jeans with a black shirt that said I love rich boys and some black flats. The other girl was wearing a black shirt and a black skirt with some black wedges.

Girl #1: "Hello, I'm Lauren and this is my sister Brianna."

Brianna: "It's nice to finally meet you. Brian has had visions of you joining us. He described you well, 'a true beauty', Monica."

Lauren: "Lets not forget to mention that he called her an 'angel'."

She hissed.

Brianna: "He was right about you, and I assume that he was right about you not knowing about your powers."

Monica: "What powers?"

Lauren: "You know sister you should really start trusting my husband he can see the future. And everything he tells us turned out to be true."
