Love At First Sight- Chapter 5

I can tell Austin was kind of shocked. So was Steven. I looked up at Austin (because he is a lot taller than me) and smiled, "I found someone I can be myself with, who doesn't abuse me," I look at my little sisters "who loves and helps me take care of my sisters," and then I looked back at Steven, "and who loves me." 

 "Well.. we- well.. if you want it that way.. I'll find someone else. I never loved you anyway. You're an ugly and selfish girl who can't handle the real world. Why would I want you? I'll find someone 100 times better." Austin looked down at me, then at Steven., "I don't think there is another girl as great as Amanda. She's amazing, beautiful, smart, caring, and many other things. I doubt you'll find someone. I know I wouldn't. But I don't have to worry about that. I have her, and I plan on having an amazing family with her in the future." I love Austin so much. I can honestly say that now. Steven storms off like a 4 year old not getting a toy he wanted, but in this case the toy was me. 

Austin and I just kind of stand there.. kind of in shock, but very happy. He finally broke the silence and turned to me, "So, are we really dating?" he sounds excited and hopeful. I've never had someone be this excited about me before. "Yes, but if you don't want to, I understand.." I say as I look down "Are you kidding me," Austin says and laughs, "I've been waiting for this day to come ever since the first day I saw your picture!"

That sounds really good to me. I've never had someone want me like this.

"Wait how did you know about me before i moved in?" I'm confused but still giggling. "Dave and your twitter and Instagram. I didn't follow you.. but I thought you were beautiful so I would check it everyday. Sorry if that sounds creepy" he says also laughing. "No it doesn't.. I didn't know about Dave until recently. I don't remember seeing him when i was younger. i don't remember much of my childhood, thank goodness. I don't want to remember." I look down at my sisters to find them eating their ice cream watching us and smiling. 

Austin doesn't really know what to say, and neither do I, so there is a long silence, but not awkward, pause. He looks at me and says, "So.. can I get that free kiss now?" (I gave him his watch before he went up to get the ice cream, and I told him about the free kiss thing) I just giggled and we both slowly leaned in. 

When our lips touch its immediate sparks. Nothing else matters except the fact I'm kissing the boy I've wanted to marry since I was younger. I can't believe this was happening.

He is still holding Brooklyn, who starts hitting our faces trying to break us apart. We finally released the kiss. And we both laughed. We all sat down and Austin and I shared our ice cream, as the girls finished theirs. We left hand in hand. I think this new relationship is going to be a win for everyone. 

Except Steven of course.

"So, when are we going to tell everyone?" I ask Austin. "We can today if you want," he says excitedly, "I don't want to wait." he says and smiles at me. As he's driving, one hand hold the steering wheel, and the other holds my hand. I look back at the girls in the rearview mirror and say, "What do you say girls, should we tell everyone today?" Brooklyn starts to clap and the girls scream "YES!" I think they're just as excited as Austin, which is good.

"So Austin.." I say kind of quiet. "Yeah babe? Gosh I love being able to say that to you!" He says. He's so happy which makes me smile. "Why do you like me so much? I'm still surprised you liked me still after I told how I used to be beat and that I self harm. People who know me would be surprised that a guy like you can like a girl like me." I really am surprised, and very curious. I don't usually get guys as good as Austin.

"I don't understand how you don't see how beautiful you are. At the airport i was so nervous to see you because I knew I already liked you. And I know you already liked me.." He says with a half smile and a little chuckle. "what?" I say laughing. He squeezes my hand, "When I went on Twitter and Instagram there were pictures of me everywhere, and you used to tweet me all the time, but I was too scared to reply."

I can't believe he was scared to reply to me! "Awe thats so cute! I was always nervous to tweet you because I didn't know if you would get annoyed from the constant tweets everyday." He shakes his head, laughs, and says, "No how could I? I loved to see the "I love you tweets" and all the little reasons why you loved me and stuff. It brightened my day by a lot, knowing a beautiful girl like you, can like a guy like me."

Austin doesn't come off as a bad boy at all. I wonder what he means.. 

"What do you mean a guy like you? To me, you honestly seem perfect. You're a successful singer who has millions of fans, you're very handsome, and you have the greatest personality. I have never met someone as sweet as you. I'm not joking. No one back home would treat me like this."

"Well they should've. You're a princess, you're my princess. And now I finally get to show you that you are." he smiles at me. We finally pull in the drive way. I let Austin go in the house to tell everyone, while I grab the girls.

As I walk into the house, I hear Austin in the kitchen telling Michele about how it happened "..I'm so happy!!! I wish she realized how beautiful she is.." I hear him trail off. Maybe he is the right guy for me, we'll have to wait to see what the relationship is like.

I shut the front door so everyone knows I'm here. Austin came running to the front door to get me so we can tell everyone. He told everyone to go to the living room.

"Alright guys.. I have to tell you something really important and exciting." he pauses then looks at me, "I found someone who stole my heart a very long time ago, and she still has it. And she finally agreed to be my girlfriend! Me and Amanda are dating!!" 

That was so cute.

Everyone is screaming of happiness, and my uncle is tearing up a little with tears of joy. I've never seen him this happy, except the day his daughter was born. My uncle pulls me and Austin into the kitchen to talk. "Wow I can't believe I'm crying right now," he says as he wipes a tear. "Amanda has never been treated right.. and now I think she finally will be. Austin you seem like a guy that will take care of and love Amanda. Gosh I remember when she used to be obsessed with you and she used to-" I interrupted him, he was going to embarrass me. "Alright lets not say too much Uncle Ryan.." I turn a little red. "I'll embarrass her later.." my uncle says laughing.

To celebrate, we all decide to go out to eat at a local restaurant. Austin rents the restaurant out so we won't be bothered. And plus, he didn't tell the Mahomies yet. I don't think we should. They'll be hurt, I know because I am one, and when I lived back home I didn't want Austin to get a girlfriend or I'd be heart broken. And I feel guilty for dating him.

In the restaurant we have a big booth to fit 9 of us. To my right is Austin, and to my left is Brooklyn who is strapped into a booster seat, kind of like the ones from the barber shop for little kids. When we order everything, we get rolls (like bread rolls) fresh from the oven, they're delicious.

When the food comes, it's crazy. I have to feed Brooklyn, I just got her a Mac& cheese. She loves that stuff. I got chicken, Austin got this big steak special (it comes with mashed potatoes, corn, and a side of your choice), thats what all the boys ordered, and Michele got a baked potato.

"How is it?" Austin asks me. It was so good. I'm not getting full yet which is good. "It's great!" I say "And I'm not getting full yet, so hopefully I can eat it all. How's yours?" Austin finishes chewing and says, "It's awesome. Wanna try it?" I can tell he's excited and happy and he's expecting me to say yes so I do. He feeds me a piece of steak, and it really is awesome. "Wow that delicious." I say. "Do you want some more?" he asks. I think he wants me to eat it, but I need to finish mine. "No no. It's fine. I need to eat mine before i get full, but thank you," I kiss his nose, "do you wanna try my chicken? I'm kind of full now." He doesn't want any.. the food was really good there.

"Guys guess what.." Alex says. "What?" me and Austin say in harmony. "I got a picture of when Amanda kissed your nose" he looks at Austin.

"Send it to me!!!!" Austin yells with excitement. "Me too!" I add. everyone laughed. We both make it our lock screen.

When we get back to the house we all change into more comfortable clothes, and then we all sit down on the couch. Just like my uncle promised to do earlier, he embarrassed me.
