Love At First Sight- Chapter 6

"..Oh and here she is when she was a baby!" my uncle is embarrassing me to the fullest right now. Austin seems to be enjoying himself. "Oh my gosh Amanda!! You were so adorable!!" I sit there and hide my face in my hands. The first night we started dating and Uncle Ryan already started to bring out the pictures.. ugh. 

"Look at her second birthday party! She wanted to be a fairy princess!" I hope this is over soon. He gets to age seven. Thats when the pictures end because my fathers beatings. No one wanted memories of the beatings.

There were a couple pictures here and there from when i was 7 all the way until I was 15, when I went to live with my uncle. There were pictures of me with my family, me with my friends, some of just me, any kind of picture. He always took pictures because he liked to keep the memories. Theres one picture that I really like. It's one of my whole family (only my mothers side. I'm closet to them). I remember that day so perfectly. I miss my family so much. "Hey can I keep that one. The one of all of us?" My uncle hands me the picture and I kind of just stare at it for a while, until Austin finally says something, "Are you okay babe? You're tearing up.." He brings me into a hug. "I just miss them. My family and my friends. I miss them all" I saw into his chest. His hugs are the best. I feel protected. 

I go to my room and put the picture in a frame and hang it on my wall. I hear my phone ring. I go to pick it up, it's my brother. I miss him a lot. I tell him about the new relationship, and he tells me how happy he is that I finally found someone that will treat me right. I tell him i miss him and he feels the same. After we hangup I start to tear up again. I hope he comes to see me soon. For now I send him pictures of me and Austin to show him how happy I am.

2 weeks later

Austin and I are still together and very happy. I love him so much. Today was an us day, Austin's mom took my sisters out for lunch, the boys went to a skate park and the beach, and my uncle and Dave went shopping.. I think. But any ways, I'm so happy we get to spend sometime for ourselves. All we're doing right now is laying down in his bed, cuddling, and watching Say Yes To The Dress. "That dress is beautiful.." I say in amazement. "You'll be on there one day. Picking out a dress for our special day. I can't wait for that day." I smile and kiss him. I flip through the channels just to see what else is on. Girl Code!! My favorite. This episode is about PDA.. If the boys were here, they would've said something. We PDA A LOT. We like to say it's because we love each other.

It's been 2 hours watching Girl Code. It's not getting boring because I'm with Austin. "Babe you wanna dance?" he says. "Sure," I giggle at how cute he is, "but to what?" All of a sudden "Rockin That Thing" by The Dream came on. "Come on" he says. 

He grabs my hand. We go in the living room to slow dance because it's the biggest room in the house. His hands are on my waist and his head is sting in the crook of my neck. My hands are around his neck and my head is resting against his chest. He sings along with the song in my ear. It's sweet and I can't stop smiling. He spins me, and then dips me and during the dip he kisses me. His kisses are light but passionate.

"Sexy Love" by Usher comes on, I love this song. Austin pulls away, still holding me, so he can see me, and starts singing along. I've never sang in front of Austin. So I decided, why not now. I start singing along with him and we both smile and keep singing. The song ends, another one comes on. He tells me I have an amazing voice.

All the songs that come on are love songs. "With Ur Love" by Cher Lloyd, "Hey Daddy" by Usher, and other songs like those. He always sang to me, or I sang to him. It was so fun just to spend time with him.

There is suddenly a knock at the door. Me and Austin go to open the door.

I'm surprised.. oh my gosh..

It was my three best friends. I missed them more than anything. "Oh my gosh!!!!!" I started crying and I hugged them all. "How'd you guys get here?!" they all pointed to Austin. I can't believe he paid for them to fly out here. How could I repay him?? I hug him and give him a kiss.

I'm literally too excited for them to be here. They're staying over for 3 days. Three days is better than nothing. I show them around the house, my room, Austin's room, the boys rooms. "Who else lives with you?" Lauren asks us. "Austin's 3 friends, his mom, and my uncle."

Even though we were standing next to each other, Lauren texts me.

Lauren: "Are they cute????"

Me: "Uhm lol idk thats up to you to decide. I like Austin and only Austin so I couldn't tell you that."

After she reads my text, the door bursts open. Zach, Robert, and Alex come walking in, hands full of bags. They come walking into the living room, which was where we were all sitting. "Woah.." Lauren and Joley both say together like they're some kind of robots. "Hi." Roberts says kind of nervously, "I- I'm Robert, and this is Zach.. and Alex.."

My other best friend that is here (her name is Amanda as well) isn't single. So she just smiles and waves. Alex isn't single either, so its a win for everyone. Me and Austin look at each other, we both know what each other is thinking. We're gonna set Robert on a date with Joley, and Lauren on a date with Zach.

This is great, my best friends will hopefully soon be going out with my boyfriend's best friends.

Amanda is dating a Youtuber named Joey Graceffa. He's wicked funny and very sweet to Amanda, and that's all that matters.

That night, we invite Joey out to eat with us and we all go on one big date. Austin and I as a couple, Amanda and Joey as a couple, Lauren and Zach as a couple, and Joley and Robert as a couple. We went to the same place Austin and I went to when we first started dating. He rented it out again because we were having a big date night.

"So Joey.. how did you and Amanda meet?" Austin asks. I love their story of how they fell in love. "Well we we're best friends when we were little.." Joey starts. "and then we lost contact around age 12 because I had to move away to California. I liked her since we were little.. when i moved away i missed her a lot. When I turned 18 i went to New York just to visit. I was walking the streets of Manhattan and I saw this beautiful girl. She looked familiar, but I couldn't remember her name. I needed to talk to her, so I pretended to bump into her. That was a disaster," he laughs and Amanda giggles. I can see that they're in love. Amanda is 6 years old than me (she's 22) but we're still best friends. She's a close family friend "she had a coffee in her hand that i didn't notice, and it spilt all over the book she had just bought, and her."

They both look at each other and smile. "And then what happened?" Austin says. He seems he be very interested.. So am I. I've heard this story hundreds of times but it never gets old, it's just that cute. It's like it came out of one of the romance novels by Nicholas sparks. "And then she slapped me," everyone started cracking up. "but I offered to buy her a new book. And when she looked up she realized it was me. She screamed my name and hugged me. Then it hit me.. it was Amanda. I was so excited. She invited me to her apartment that day for tea. We went to her apartment, and we were catching up with each other. We exchanged numbers and the next day I called her and told her how I've been looking for her for years and I was in love with her. And luckily, she felt the same. And ever since then, we've had an amazing relationship."
