Tiana has never felt this pain before. It is like the world was against her figure. They are against every special thing about her. Tiana sits in her room flipping through old pictures of herself. Looking through, you could tell she was always a little bigger than the next child, but nothing life threatening.

She always stood out. She was a natural black girl. Only mixed girls take that course, but Tiana's mom just didn't have the heart to put the creamy crack in her daughter's soft luscious curls. They may not be the curl pattern that society preferred but Tiana's mom loved every single curl on her daughters head. If she could have made the decision to stay away from the perm's to, then she would have been fierce with her daughter.

Tiana, however, is ready to go to the dark side. To just perm it and fall to society's demands. She is tired of being ridiculed because she is a different image seen. Much more like a contradiction. The words of the world are weighing down on her and you can see it. She has been skipping two meals a day, and only eating when necessary. She looks in the mirror everyday and holds back tears at her image. Alexis words always the main that come to mind.

Alexis is frustrated. Frustrated that she lost her only Dad and he isn't even her real one. She just couldn't stand looking at his real offsprings after he died. Why couldn't she have been blessed with him rather than a rapist as a father. She has never seen him and doesn't even know his name. She knows that Tiana was the last to talk to there dad and it started striking a nerve in her. Every time she sees Tiana, she just wants to yell and hit her with the built up jealousy.

The day she said what she had to say was the best day in her life. She had finally broke her down and she could see it. She does blame her Dad's death on Tiana. Believing that if Tiana didn't throw all her insecurities at everyone in the house expecting attention, he would still be here. Dad always worried about his precious Tiana and Alexis was always green with envy.

Tiana didn't understand why her own blood would purposely hurt her, but she is. It kills Tiana everyday to know she isnt who everyone likes. Never had Tiana spoke a word out loud about someone's looks. Not all are blessed with the perfect body and perfect hair. Tiana was really thinking hard on the fact that God may have made a mistake putting her in this world. If he only wanted to see her hurt then it is working. It seemed like the only who did care were her family and Chris, but Alexis and Chris just stop caring.

The day Chris dropped Tiana off at her house was the last he has heard of her. He knew something was off but Cecilia was pressing a issue that he sees much differently now. She had told him that he shouldn't be worried about Tiana, but worried them. A few nights later, he made love to his girl because she asked but something was missing. It just wasn't the same. His suspicions were confirmed when she yelled out, "Jerome! Yes baby!"

He didn't know how to feel when he tossed her off of him. He wanted to murder her. Cecilia got up and confessed like it didn't matter. The little love he had left for her was gone. What topped the cake was when she confessed and expected that they were still a couple. She climbed in the bed thinking that he would never let her go.

Cecilia knew that he would find out eventually but she didn't care. She swore up and down that she had Chris wrapped around her finger. She had been sleeping around for at least six months with Jerome, one for the Blackwell's family workers. She just loved the way he worked her but Chris was always better. She would be damned if he tried to give her dick away to another woman. Cecilia thought she was just that bitch...until Chris did the unexpected.

He went around the room grabbing her stuff as Cecilia sat there confused. This wasn't the reaction she thought she would get. Chris opened his balcony doors and threw every article of clothing from the two story building. Her clothing may be expensive but he didn't care. He just needed her out of that house before he did some regretful actions. He walked to the side of the bed and grabbed Cecilia by the waist. She kicked thrashed, saying it was a mistake.

Chris ignored every excuse flowing out of her mouth. He gave her every possible thing he could. He did love her and now he saw the real side of her. He opened the front doors to his house and set her on the porch. He slammed the door right then and there.

Cecilia banged on that door for at least an hour, seeing as though her house was three hours away and her phone was in her purse. She looked at his house and screamed in anguish, making some of the neighbors peek out their windows. Curiosity didn't kill these cats. Cecilia didn't fill any guilt about what she did. She was used to getting her way with the looks she possessed (and the head game). She walked to the side of the house, slowly putting on her clothes. She grabbed her Michael Kors purse with dignity, dusting off the dirt. She grabbed her phone out and dialed Jerome.

Fifteen minutes later, she had her ride and also a quickie in his car. When they finished, Jerome dropped her off two blocks from her crib, speeding off. She took off her heels and walked on the cold pavement. Cecilia was never one to watch her surroundings, so the strange noises and car creeping up on her didn't phase her. Again, she always had someone doing something for her such as protecting her.

She felt two hands grab her arms as another set grabbed her legs. She kicked and screamed but New York does eventually sleep at night. You start to distrust the fake screams that you hear every night as a resident. All the females scream over stupid things so you don't know what's real and what's fake. Cecilia just being another scream in the night as the unknown captures covered her mouth, and knocked her out cold.

Days later, Chris had finally decided that he needed to vent. He couldn't take the built up emotions no more and lets just say Chris didn't have homies. Yes, you are correct. Chris Max Blackwell had no friends. He couldn't relate to the white people and it was hard putting your trust into people being who he was. He walked to Tiana door and knocked, feeling nervousness creep up his body.

When she opened the door, his mouth fell. She wasn't the same. She didn't look terrible but you could see that the life was drained out of her. He looked into her eyes and felt nothing but pain and he saw what he didn't want to believe. The Tiana he knew only weeks before was gone.

When Tiana opened that door, she didn't expect to see Chris. She was home alone, like usual, when she heard the doorbell. Chris stood there with his mouth agape, making Tiana timid and self conscious. He must be looking at he weight. She knew the big shirt and sweatpants did no justice.

Chris had finally asked to walk in and when he did, he felt the vibe. This house was grieving. It was lonesome and dark. Barely any lights on and going by the silence, she had been the only one here. Tiana guided them to the living room and they sat down, letting the silence set in.

"So. Why are you here Chris?" Tiana didn't want to sound rude but she just wanted to know. She was sleeping her troubles away before he decided to stop for a visit.

"I needed someone to uhh talk to. " He rubbed his waves looking at Tiana. He could sense something wrong with her. He could just feel it.

"Why not Cecilia? Is she not avaible?" It came off harsh but Tiana couldn't say it nicely. Thinking of that girl just made her mad that everyone in society preferred that type of girl.

"She cheated on me and we broke up. The bitch cheated on me! I gave her the world and anything money could buy. She was my ride or die! But she cheated on me with somebody I work with! I bought her the the louie, the Gucci, the Hermes, the Versace! I took her out on dates, I praised her and treated her like a women should be. They should be treated like queens but she played me like a deck of cards." Chris got pacing the room as his thoughts poured out.

"Chris. Money can't buy happiness at-"

"You didn't know Cecilia like I did. After we got at least six months into our relationship, thats all she wanted. She is a materialistic hoe!"

"But you made her like that. You should have made sure she wasn't there for the money before it got to serious." Chris just nodded replaying the events again. "Why are you so stuck on the fact of her being a ride or die? Im confused." Chris stop walking, shocked by her question. He knew the answer but never has it been asked.

He sat down wiping his face.

"It has to do with my parents."
